Charming Bungalow On Main St & the Swamp Rabbit Trail with Private Pool
Right on the Swamp Rabbit Trail! Walk to downtown Traveler's Rest for some great bites and shopping. This charming craftsman home is a 4 bedroom 1 bath home and sits on over a half acre lot and boasts a gorgeous, large pool. Plenty of space for a family gathering or friend's reunion right on the Swamp Rabbit Trail. Bring your bikes and cool off afterwards in the large swimming pool, or sit out on the front porch. You will feel right at home. The pool area has plenty of seating: Two separate dining areas, outdoor couch, 3 loungers, & outdoor umbrellas. Throw some burgers on the gas grill and let the kiddos run around in the large yard. Sit out on the front porch and watch the cyclists ride by. Our home is lovingly decorated. There are plenty of books and games for when you just want to stay inside. The large sectional leather couch, in the living room, is a great place to gather and plan out your days in the Upstate. Our beds have received many compliments. Our linens are soft and carefully picked out to make your stay comfortable. Our original vintage kitchen is charming with modern appliances. The farmhouse bathroom has a large shower and sitting bench with plenty of towels for your group. The home has a whole house water filtration system, so it's safe to drink the water. We hope you'll choose to stay with us and enjoy our charming town.
Please note: Although the yard is completely fenced in, the pool is not. This property has a pool that does not include a 4-sided isolation fence so added supervision is necessary. Children should not be left unattended.

About the host
Hosted by Foothill Estates, LLC
We moved to Travelers Rest, SC from Miami, FL in 2021. We immediately fell in love with Travelers Rest because it is an active community. It reminded us of our Miami village of Coconut Grove - with cyclists & runners, great local restaurants & some very creative artists. We were ready to ditch the city, so we traded the ocean for the mountains. Trailblazer Bungalow has been our home since then. We originally named it the "Fun House" because it has a little bit of quirkiness, it's right on the Swamp Rabbit Trail & of course the pool! We have moved closer to the mountains to create a homestead with our children and Trailblazer Bungalow is now our in-town home to share with visiting family and friends and others.
Why they chose this property
We fell in love with this charming home the minute we saw it! I think you will too. It is the true charm of Travelers Rest. Did you know the Swamp Rabbit Trail was originally the train line and the train stop was at Sunrift Adventures? Just a short walk away. We love the history that this home holds. We enjoy walking to restaurants and small boutique stores. Our kids love riding the trails at Gateway Park and we've done the ride to downtown Greenville many times. We love to recharge at Spill the Beans with an espresso milkshake and ride back to our doorsteps. Our favorite stop on the trail is the lake at Furman University - not to be missed! This neighborhood has some great neighbors. We love the way everyone waves as you drive by.
What makes this property unique
The benefits of Trailblazer Bungalow is that you will be right on the Swamp Rabbit Trail! You can ride your bike all the way into Downtown Greenville or stay in town and check out TR's great local restaurants, breweries, and charming boutiques. There is so much to do. Including Gateway Park, just around the corner. "Gateway Park offers mountain bikers a progression of trails with various challenges and terrains." Didn't bring your bike? Rent one at Sunrift Adventures just a short walk towards town. The Upstate has some of the best state parks in all of South Carolina. Downtown Greenville is a 15-20 minute drive. We think it's one of the loveliest downtown's we've ever experienced. Maybe that's why it's been in so many top lists including Southern Living's top southern cities on the rise or "Livability recently ranked it one of the Top 10 Best Downtowns in the country, and The New York Times called Greenville "a national model for a pedestrian-friendly city center."" Greenville is also a foodies paradise. Furman University is also a short drive away, and we truly enjoy hosting our Furman families. We hope you'll stay a while with us.
