Tide and Trail is a beautifully renovated cottage, perfectly situated just minutes from Little Beach, Terrace Beach, and the breathtaking Wild Pacific Trail. Thoughtfully designed for comfort and relaxation, it’s an ideal retreat for couples or small families looking to immerse themselves in the natural beauty and adventure of the West Coast. A short 15 minute walk or 3 minute drive will take you to downtown Ucluelet with its many cafes, restaurants, and shops.

THE INTERIOR:
A cozy, bright cabin with tall ceilings, all on one floor, nestled among the trees for a peaceful and secluded retreat.

SLEEPING:
The cottage comfortably sleeps four, featuring a queen bed and a queen sofa bed in the living room.

BATHROOM:
A well-appointed 3-piece bathroom featuring a bathtub and shower combination for your comfort and convenience with shampoo, conditioner and handsoap from Carina Organics, Vancouver.

KITCHEN:
A fully stocked kitchen with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Enjoy complimentary coffee, tea, sugar, salt and pepper. A blender is available for your convenience, along with a drip coffee maker for the perfect morning brew.
Blue Crush is proud to support and partner with Nellie`s - B.C. made and biodegradable dish soap (gentle on the hands) and Nellie`s dishwasher detergent (not all properties have dishwashers). No artificial fragrances!
Under the sink we have placed a Nellie`s cleaning spray (biodegradable) for your use in case any spills happen.

COFFEE + TEA:
Enjoy a starter supply of freshly roasted beans from Foggy Bean, our local roaster. Brew with ease using the drip coffee maker and reusable filter. For tea lovers, we offer an organic blend breakfast blend from Ucluelet Thay Tea.

DINING/ LIVING OPEN CONCEPT:
The cozy space has natural light - windows on each wall and elevated ceiling. Enjoy spacious dining at a table for four. Spend some time relaxing in the open concept living room. There is a TV provided with basic Telus Cable. There is a large sliding glass door that leads to the covered spacious deck.

PUP PATROL
The house is pet friendly. Potentially open to two dogs - please reach out. We provide dog towels, small bed and dog bowls. The property is dog heaven with direct beach access. Please ensure your pup does not chase the wildlife such as shorebirds. Further instructions will be in the house guide. $50 per dog.

LAUNDRY
None on site. Linens are washed proudly using Canadian made Nellie`s Laundry Soap which is unscented and ocean safe, perfect for those with sensitive skin! We do not use dryer sheets as well for environmental and body safe reasons.

PARKING:
1 parking spot is included with the building. Any other vehicles have access to complimentary street parking. There is taxi service or embrace walking or biking in town to get around on the designated MUP (multi use path).

GETTING AROUND TOFINO:
Getting around Tofino is part of the adventure! The scenic Multi-Use Path (MUP) runs through town and is perfect for walking, biking, jogging, or strolling.

PUBLIC TRANSIT:
Hop on the West Coast Transit bus for easy travel between Tofino and Ucluelet (and stops along the West Coast). It runs seven days a week with frequent service—and you can find routes, maps, and the full schedule here: https://bctransit.com/west-coast
Other easy options include:
• Bike & e-bike rentals for cruising town and trails
• Rideshare via the Coastal Rides app and Tofino Taxi (limited drivers)
• Pre-arranged private shuttles (Tiki Bus, Pacific Rim Navigators) for larger groups
• Rental cars, including Budget and EVO (pre-arranged airport pickup)

KNOW BEFORE YOU PARK:
Tofino has paid parking in many downtown and beach areas, especially in peak season. Signs and pay stations will show rates and time limits—typically hourly in effect May through October during daytime hours.
You can pay at kiosks or use mobile apps like Honk Mobile or PayByPhone to make it easy.
Tips:
• Parking spots are enforced daily; always check signs.
• Free short-term parking and resident permit options exist in certain zones.
• Consider alternative transit or bikes to skip parking hassles altogether!

BOOKING POLICIES:
- Maximum of guests; minimum age to book is 25
- Cleaning fee plus GST, PST, and MRDT apply to all bookings
- Peak summer season (June 15 – Sept 15) requires a 3-night minimum; stays must be back-to-back to prevent gaps. If a single-night gap occurs, guests may be contacted to adjust reservations
- Mid-season and holiday rates apply on winter long weekends and Christmas
- A 3-night minimum stay applies on all Canadian statutory holidays
- Discounts of 5–10% may be available for stays of 7+ nights (excluding peak season); contact us to inquire
- Cancellations made more than 30 days before arrival receive a full refund minus a $50 cancellation fee plus GST; cancellations within 30 days are non-refundable
- A damage deposit of $300 is held (not charged) at check-in for direct, VRBO, and Booking.com reservations and released within five business days after checkout, pending no damage.

We hope you have a lot of fun and laughter on your vacation; however parties and loud gatherings will not be tolerated and may incur a fine. Please be mindful of neighbors and keep noise to a minimum between the hours of 10pm-8am. Only registered guests allowed onsite.
SMOKING:
No smoking inside. We do not allow smoking ANYWHERE on our property, not inside, out on the deck or the yard around the cottage. This is due to fire safety and also as respect to our very close neighbours. Reef Point has a designated smoking area, guests can smoke where the recycling bins are at the end of the lane.
Glitter is not allowed, as it is extremely difficult to remove and may result in additional cleaning fees.
