Hi Don, So glad you & Holly had a wonderful time in Bonaire. We hope your dreams of owning a home here becomes reality for you. I'm sure you will find the perfect house. Wouldn't any house would be perfect in Bonaire?! Nothing beats going for a swim or a dive after the end of a hot sunny day! Now that you are lionfish hunting certified, you can have lionfish for dinner as often as you like! I'm sure your kitties will enjoy it as well. Hi Michelle, We wish you & Sarah could have stayed with us longer! Next time, we will definitely have Chris' mojitos when you come back. We are so glad that Sarah was persistent in booking the reservation - I would have never known that her email address was wrong and she wasn't getting my responses. Bon dia Christine & Katherine! We really love having guests like you that are really want to experience all the fun things that Bonaire has to offer. We finally took the water taxi over to Klein to check out the snorkeling (since we have only been diving there) after you told us how much you really enjoyed it. It was great to put your stuff on the beach then have them take you further down the island so you can snorkel back. We saw at least 5 turtles and the biggest midnight parrot fish we've ever seen - both in the shallow water. The angle fish were swimming right up to the camera! I even got to take a nap on the beach while we were waiting for the taxi to pick us up. I'll be sure to post the pictures of our Facebook page: Treasure By The Sea Bonaire. I know Katherine took some beautiful photos. We would love to see them and to have her post her amazing videos too! After reading your review, it inspired me to finally come up with names for our houses. The middle unit that you stayed in is now called Kas di Amigu, which means House of Friends in Papiamentu. The real treasure is for us is that you come as guests and we become friends! We hope you come back soon. Su & Chris btw, a young male stray cat decided to adopt us as his home. We named him 'Macho' - for the same reasons you are probably thinking of! lol Persia finds him quite entertaining since she spends her time creeping up on him and swatting him as he walks by.
