About this property

Tiny living, Big escape!

**No cleaning fee**
This memorable place is anything but ordinary.
Set in a private spot of our property, we carefully crafted this container into a tiny home with all the amenities necessary for an enjoyable stay.
This container can sleep up to six people:
Bedroom one - double bed
Bedroom two - queen bed
Sofa bed in lounge - we would advise this for kids or teenagers.
We can provide a travel cot for infants if organised in advance.
10 mins drive away from Kai Iwi beach and a 20-25mins drive to Whanganui. We are situated on the main highway but far enough to not hear traffic.
Great location for kids to run around.

The container is located to the left of the main house as you drive in.
We have a second rental behind our house - for this reason we ask that you refrain wondering around the rest of the property to maintain everyone’s privacy.
You are though, more than welcome to enjoy the small garden near the container.

We have kids, a cat and a dog (golden retriever) and some chooks (free eggs for breakfast?!) on the property.
We also have cows as this is a dairy farm.

We supply tea, coffee, milk etc but otherwise the accommodation is self catered.
There is a microwave, oven/toaster/air fryer and a cooktop for heating meals.
Guest access
The entire container is for your use. Please park near the container.
Keep in mind that we have small children and a dog - we will try our best to keep you unbothered during your stay but be aware of it.
Other things to note
Please be aware that we have another rental on the property.

Great wee spot over looking the rolling hills. Check in and check out was a breeze and the place was lovely and warm on a chilly evening.

Overall fantastic with thoughtfully furnished accomodation - real nice addition of complimentary dog overnight. Only comment of better signage at the gate or check in at the house first. Pretty minor considering the sunrise and night sky.

We had the most beautiful, peaceful stay. The aesthetic is stunning, cosy, rustic and thoughtfully designed with lovely attention to detail. The tranquil environment was the highlight for us. It was the perfect getaway for my husband and I, with incredible sunrise views and total peace and quietEverything we needed was provided, including warm blankets for slow mornings on the patio and even a washing machineWe left feeling rested and refreshed, highly recommend for a serene escape. The visits from family cat and dog were a bonus!

Fabulous accommodation thanks. Wanted a getaway for the weekend for myself and bestie. Was absolutely perfect. Highly recommend Mareva that you count the teaspoons on each checkout! They're fabulous! Also lucky enough the cows were in the home paddock both nights which always adds a great NZ touch :)Will be back for sure.
