This was a cute little place to stay. The oustide has cob webs and stuff all over the entry way. Some areas are dirty whileThe most of the house was clean. They need to review what is expected by people that use VRBO etc. No bowls, and a few minor thins unavailable. We enjoyed or inexpensive stay, and plan to rebook in future. HopeThe front of the house gets powereashed

Not enjoyable for us

We checked out early. The air conditioner works, but is meant more for a room. It didn't do much to help the other rooms feel comfortable. Also, there was nothing stopping someone from opening the window with the air conditioner and breaking in. We are not familiar with the area so this made us uncomfortable. The kitchen looks nice, but it needs a curtain or cover on the back door for some privacy.

It was just okay

I am originally from the area so I know it well. Despite what others said, we felt safe! It is a great area! We liked taking walks in the morning and evening and go down by the lake. My kids also loved the basketball court. The house is older, so it does need some updating and fixing. Lots of dead bugs here and there and spiders when we first checked in. The bedroom door doesn’t close. It did have a damp feel and mildew smell. Would have loved to have a nice, private area to sit outside. The front porch faces right towards the house Nextdoor so it is not private. The chairs by the driveway were nice, but also not private. A back patio would be wonderful! Some fishing poles/tackle box for visitors use would be great!

Minimally adequate

Few issues with this stay here ...we were told to empty the dishwasher. There is no dishwasher. There were no dish towels. We had to use paper towels to dry everything if you plugged more than one thing into a couple of outlets there were sparks .there's no air conditioning in the second bedroom so it's a hot box right now. The plug to keep water in the bathtub is not adequate and there are zero washcloths in this place. The outside is not very well kept and there is no information in the book except for the Wi-Fi information basically.
