You'll also find a thoughtfully curated welcome binder in the home, filled with information about the house, our favorite local spots to eat, drink, and explore, plus useful info about the house and surrounding area to help you settle in and feel right at home. It is one of our most popular amenities and we work hard to keep it updated and relevant.
Note that dogs are not allowed, including Emotional Support Animals, which are not recognized as service animals in the state of Oregon. If you are bringing a service animal, we would appreciate if you would describe what duties or work it has been trained to perform, and if it is required because of a disability. We have significant fees for unauthorized animals. We are dog lovers but cater to guests who prefer to stay in homes that do not allow pets.
Wildfire smoke is a significant risk in the mid-summer to late fall in the PNW, especially east of the Cascades. Please note that we cannot predict or control the weather or the smoke, and neither of these are considered grounds for exceptions to the refund policy. If you want a more flexible cancellation policy due to air quality/smoke, we recommend purchasing travel insurance, which is offered to you during the booking process. If your time in Bend is impacted by smoke, we are happy to help you make the best of it—there are often times of day or parts of the surrounding area that are far less smoky than others. We live here and understand the challenge.

We had a wonderful stay at the Modern Nordic Nest. The space was clean, comfortable, and accommodated our group of six perfectly. The sauna was a major highlight, especially during the chilly evenings! Our host was incredibly friendly and responsive throughout. We would definitely stay here again.
We travel a lot and this is no doubt the nicest VRBO we have ever stayed in. If you know Bend at all, you’ll know this location is fantastic. The house is even better than advertised and we really appreciated how straightforward and clear the check-in/out process was. The place was *spotless*, comfortable and quiet, and Ryan was very easy to work with. We will definitely be coming back.

Thanks, John! Glad you and your family could enjoy the place. Nice chatting with you.
My husband and I were on a road trip throughout the western US. Our plan was to visit towns we had not visited before, as well as traveling on roads we had never traveled on before. We had never been to Bend, and we were so happy to stay in this beautiful home. Everything was clean and beautiful. We loved the comfy bed, too. The house was located in a great place, and lovely neighborhood. The owners were very communicative, and made sure we were in the home and whether we needed anything. I would highly recommend staying in this home.
Delightful, well appointed, comfortable home for our 3 day stay in Bend. Communication with property manager was excellent. Very comfortable beds, well-provisioned kitchen. We can highly recommend a stay here when in Bend.
