Casa Playita is one of a kind and truly meant for those that want to relax and enjoy the outdoors! Casa Playita is located in San Jose del Cabo in a small rural area called La Playita. It is within 5 minutes walking to the beach and 15 minutes to downtown San Jose. The house provides 3 bedrooms with one located in the main part of the house and the other 2 are located on the side of the house. The main part of the house provides a full size kitchen with all granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and additional seating outdoors for dinner and relaxation! The views are breathtaking of the Ocean and you will definitely fall in love with Casa Playita! Your piece of paradise awaits you at Casa Playita!

Beautiful new house in an authentic setting!

We were so happy with our stay at Reed's place for a family reunion. It had space to accommodate everyone, and the kids loved playing in the fenced yard. For us parents, it was wonderful to be able to walk to the beach and take a short local bus ride into "town" (San Jose) anytime we wanted city life. Otherwise we were so happy to be in a smaller setting that doesn't yet feel overly touristy... yet still walking distance from the water, a tortillaria, a bar, and a couple other restaurants. The kitchen is amazing (we cooked in often) and we will certainly be back.

House is comfortable and well provisioned. Managing company very responsive and helpful. Lower level had independent beds and bathroom so privacy is great for couples. Upper level has main living space with main bedroom and bathroom. Keys can be a little confusing as bedroom on lower level had independent locks. I'd recommend the management color coordinat the keys to match the locks with paint or nail polish to avoid trying multiple times to find the correct key for the lock.

Three old fishermen

The house is beautiful well kept, clean, and modern. The kitchen was minimally stocked, but sufficient. Appliances were newer, and in good working order. The home itself seemed newly finished, spacious, and well-maintained. Security was sufficient plenty of gates and doors, which were locking provided an Atmosphere of security. The views from the top were spectacular, less so as you descended down the three floors. However, the outdoor space was spectacular. A cactus garden that was impeccably maintained. Has a working grill on an upper patio, which was quite lovely and where we spent most of our time. We were able to fish locally and in a 15 to 20 minute drive or also in downtown Cabo San Lucas. We were able to bring home our catch and cook it at home and there were convenience stores locally that we were able to get most of our supplies needed without having to drive into downtown Cabo. All in all we had a great stay thank you and we look forward to possibly doing it again maybe this time with our wives.

Comfortable and well-appointed home

This is a lovely home with upscale finishes such as granite countertops, upgraded appliances, tiled showers, comfortable furniture and beds, ceiling fans, and ac units in most rooms. It was very clean, and the kitchen was well stocked with plenty of pots and pans, ample glassware and dishes (though plastic, which is common in Mexico). The kitchen and living area were very comfortable and functional. There is a pleasant patio room with glass sliders in addition to an open terrace. The view is not quite as fabulous as suggested on the website, and it is a bit farther walk to the beach and restaurants then we expected. La Playita is a sleepy little town next to the Puerto Los Cabos marina, but there are a few restaurants there. The house was perfect for three couples. Two of the bedrooms are downstairs with exterior doors. All bedrooms have Queen beds and en-suite bathrooms. The management was very cooperative and friendly. They let us check in early and even met us halfway to the airport when we were told we had forgotten to leave one set of keys. Thank you! We would definitely stay there again.

Destination Paradise!

We enjoyed ourselves so much. We both thought this was the best vacation we have been on. The views are beautiful. Close to the marina, walking trails. The house is gorgeous. Spacious rooms with separate baths. The roof top is amazing at night to look out at the city. Would definitely recommend this place!

Clean, comfortable, great location!

We loved staying at Casa Playita! It was clean, very roomy, with a great kitchen, nice furnishings, and a nice location. Just east of the harbor and within sight of the Secrets resort it is a short drive to San Jose. Good restaurants in walking distance and quieter than in town. The three bedrooms are comfortable and each has a private bathroom and two of the suites have private entrances from the courtyard. The listing photos are accurate - it really is that beautiful. We enjoyed sitting out on the spacious second floor patio drinking our margaritas and taking in the view. If you want to be out of the touristy bubble but comfortable and close to amenities, this is the perfect spot. I will always stay at Casa Playita when I go to Baja in the future.
