We have stayed in many vrbos but this one was one of my favorites! If you want quiet, and seclusion - this is the place. It is decorated so cute. I loved the porch swing and the hammock and i loved that our kids and dogs could go play outside and not worry about being on top of anyone close by. Highly recommend this place.
Super clean and beautiful! The setup was nicely done. I do wish there were blinds or curtains on the windows, I’m just not used to having the windows wide open…lolOverall the stay was wonderful!
It was a magnificent property. Super quite and isolated. The few neighbors we did see while traveling in and out of the area always gave a very neighborly wave. The bluffs were beautiful which were best seen while driving in the area. You can tell the owners really care about the property as it is almost as well maintained as a 5 star resort in the islands. We arrived an hour early by accident and Jacqueline was there finishing up some work around the grounds. She told us it was fine that we were early, gave us the code to get into the door and then she left. She was friendly and welcoming.
We think this cabin is absolutely wonderful! It is isolated and far away enough from neighbors so that you don’t have to worry about seeing them. The kitchen really stood out to us because we felt like it was complete and had enough space. We also really loved access to the fire pit and the hammock, and the extra little buildings in the property made it welcoming. Our pup really loved all of the property and chasing balls the entire week we were there (yay for us.) The host was easy to get in touch with when needed. We appreciated having the washer and dryer on hand. You should know that this cabin is probably 10 to 15 minutes down a dirt road. Once you get used to it, it’s not a big deal, but it was a little surprising at first. If you are looking for some time away and distance from the city, this place is for you.
I grew up in Jasper, and spent all my time on the river, still do! I wanted to be able to share the outdoor experience this area has to offer with a cozy place to unwind and recharge.

What makes this property unique
As you arrive you may feel as though you're in a ghost town, there's a saloon and sheriff’s department and such peace and quiet. The history of the Erbie community on display at restored farmsteads in the area like Parker Hickman Homestead - tell a story of a much more simple way of life. That is what we hope to achieve from your stay, simple, quiet, slow pace, relaxing and connecting with nature. The western, historical style makes you feel like you’ve traveled back in time, but with all the modern amenities!
