Our stay was wonderful! The hot tub was very welcome after all our outdoor activities. The neighbors surrounding us were extremely kind. Our overall experience was fantastic!
Clean cabin only minutes from Helen. Very well stocked kitchen, I cooked all three nights. Hot tub was great. I was up to fly fish, and it is near some great fly fishing. Also towing a 20 ft trailer and there was parking for it. Will be back in the spring!
The cabin itself was beautiful & very quaint! I thought the layout was perfect! I loved the balcony that overlooks the living room from the bedroom. Lovely kitchen & bath! The cabin is in a great location, it's a short drive to Unicoi park and Anna Ruby falls! It's not far from Helen as the listing suggests, but it's not the safest walk to Helen from the cabin. There is a about a 1/4 mile stretch of narrow road with gaurd rails that runs along side mountainous rocks on one side and a drop off on the other, & no sidewalk which is fine, just thinking about if a family were considereing walking, it might not be a great idea. The drive is short and sweet though! The hot tub had blonde hair floating in it that we would see floating near our faces during each use that seemed to be coming out the jets, since neither of us have blonde hair. Each night I noticed I was having trouble with allergies and post nasal drip, which im still dealing with, but I was fine while out and about during the day. Unfortunately for us the cabin had black mold in the upstairs bedroom throught the ceiling and back wall and along the centerbeams of the cabin, which we discovered on our last day. I did send video and pics of it to our host's attention, as soon as I discovered it, but havent heard anything back as of yet. To be fair she did let us know she was out of the country during our stay. The listing showed a washer and dryer, which the cabin doesn’t have, but everything else matched up perfectly!
