About this property
The Ranch At Happy Valley
Inspired by a family trip to Montana, The Ranch at Happy Valley blends refined Western elegance with modern comfort. Nestled on 6 private acres in historic Boalsburg, enjoy walkable dining, world-class fly fishing, skiing, and a 6-mile drive to Penn State & Beaver Stadium. Thoughtfully curated furnishings and serene surroundings create a truly elevated escape.
Guests will have full access to the entire house, including all living areas, bedrooms, and outdoor spaces. Please note that the garages are not accessible during your stay.
Guests will enjoy full privacy on the property. While you’re just minutes from town, you’ll still get that authentic countryside, mountain feel—occasional visits from deer and wild turkeys included. The home is equipped with high-speed Wi-Fi, and modern comforts.
The road leading up to the ranch and the driveway are gravel and are plowed in winter. However, during snowy months, we strongly recommend a 4-wheel drive vehicle for optimal access.

I was born and raised in State College, PA. My wife was born in Columbus, Ohio and spent some time in Burlington, Vermont. We love to travel and we have used VRBO for our own family trips. We love sharing experiences and we hope to help give your family wonderful memories.
Why they chose this property
This property reminded of us of Big Sky Montana! Our favorite family vacation to date. Boalsburg is such a wonderful and historic little town too. The birthplace of Memorial Day!
