There was a terrific view and the unit was nice and as advertised. There was very little snow so no option to ski in and ski out but we had a great time anyway.

Overall the condo is very comfy and had all the comforts of a home away from home. Housekeeping missed a few sanitary items from the previous guests. Hot tub and pool aren’t as close as they appear in the description. Check in process needs to be updated. Maybe the condo HOA and or property management can look into providing key pad entry into the units instead of having to go to a completely separate location (not very convenient if you don’t have your own car and rely on local shuttle services) to check in and out, grab keys etc. Location of the condo was great though!

Overall, the location of this place is the key driver for the cost. But that is only worth it when there is snow… and there wasn’t any.Apartment was old and worn out, lots of chips and cracks, baseboards falling off etc… the amenities were ok, we used the pool and hot tub, but they are table stakes for what we paid. No laundry in unit is also pretty disappointing - that has been a standard for other places we have stayed.Checking in/out requires driving to a completely different location both times, 10 minutes away. We have stayed at and loved many places at steamboat, as well other resorts like copper and Winterpark, this apartment would fall heavily to the bottom of our list

We agree location is a big part of value here, particularly for ski season — when conditions aren’t ideal the trade-off can feel different. I’m sorry the apartment’s condition (chips, cracks, loose baseboards) detracted from your stay; I’ve passed these notes to the homeowner and our maintenance team to inspect and prioritize repairs.
I’m glad the pool and hot tub were usable; those amenities are included but shouldn’t be the only factor for the price. Regarding laundry, some units don’t have in-unit machines — I’ll review the listing language and add clearer info and local laundry options if needed. For check-in/out, this building requires key fob/RFID access, so keys and fobs must be picked up and returned at our office, which is the reason for the off-site process.
