Spring skiing

8 days of great skiing. The location is perfect and the unit has everything you'll need. As long as there is snow, there is ski on and off access. There is nothing I didn't like about it. The only thing I would prefer is a larger television in the living room with better remote controls.

Great location, attention to detail

This was a very nice condo, exactly as advertised. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked with silverware, pots and pans. The location was perfect - truly was ski in/ski out. And the shuttle service was excellent, we never waited more than 10 minutes to be picked up anywhere - at the condo or in town. Everything in the condo was clean, and worked. Would definitely stay here again!

Love steamboat!

Great condo! Very clean and easy parking. The shuttle service was great. It is ski in/out however it is definitely not for the beginner skier (or children). If you have inexperienced skiers I would utalize the shuttle instead of skiing in/out. Really loved our stay and would definitely book again!

Spring skiing at its best

We had a great time! Amazing views from the balcony. The trail to ski access was technically ski in/out but was a bit further and more of a technical ski than we had thought, but it was doable and fine. Hot tub and pool are in a different building which made it less of a draw, but the place was cozy and comfy and perfect for our family of four.

It sounds like the stay was mostly positive, but I can see how those two issues would have made things less comfortable. Darker shades could definitely help if you're looking for better sleep, and the noise from upstairs could be tough, especially with kids running around. Hopefully, the property can look into improving the soundproofing or providing better window coverings. Despite that, it seems like you had a good experience overall! Would you stay there again?

On the hill with a great view of the valley

Festival week in Colorado Springs is a special time. Fresh powder for the first day of skiing. The facilities were excellent. Clean, comfortable, and definitely kept up. The view from the balcony at night was fantastic, as were the sunsets through the valley. It's a true ski in/ski out. The lockers are on the same level as the ski trail so you kit up and walk out to put them on. Fantastic!

very nice, clean and convenient

This was a nice property with a great location. Very much ski in ski out, super easy to get on the slope, getting off was just a little bit of poling, not bad at all. I was a little concerned because it is on the 3rd floor [ the idea of climbing 3 flights with boots after skiing is not appealing ] but there is an elevator, and equipment can be kept in the locker room of the bottom floor. The unit was comfortable and super clean [ a little heavy on the fabreeze, but I'm sensitive to that and it aired out quickly ] and well stocked with towels and some toiletries.

Check in was not close and check out was a pain, and ruined the morning ski day. As you have to drive 20 minutes to drop off key before 10am then back to mountain for skiing. Mice were in kitchen

Great condo, easy ski access

We had a great stay the last week of March with our family of four. The condo was clean, well appointed and just as pictured. The beds were comfortable, there were plenty of pillows and supplies, and the kitchen had everything we needed. Parking was easy, just outside the building, and there were always spots. Getting to and from the slopes each day was easy. There was a sign on the door of the building the first day stating that because of the warm temps and lack of snow, the ski out access trail was not usable. We took the shuttle the first day, but each day after that, we skied out and in (on certain days taking off our skis for a short distance and walking) from the Right-O-Way trail. We did get a good amount of snow when we were there, which made the ski access trails good, but even when they were not completely covered, it is just a short distance to ski or walk out. We would recommend this condo!

Unit was in need of maint and was "so-so." Views and Ski Access was great

Upon arrival Toilet in Master bath was inoperable. Would not flush, removed toilet cover and water sprayed everywhere. Called Retretia Maint and they responded quickly and repaired the toilet but it continued to leak, would flush on it's own and made noise all night. Gave up on this one. After first day of skiing there was no hot water in the entire unit. Had to walk to the Community Center (hot tub and pool to take a shower). My wife and daughter tried to take a cold shower but it was too cold. Heating element was bad and was replaced the following day. Unit was very dark. Dark paint and inadequate lighting made small unit seem even smaller than it was. Once all of the issues were repaired or dealt with: the views, ski-inn ski out, shuttle service was great. Love Steamboat!! But will stay somewhere else next time!

Robert, Thank you for sharing your feedback! Unfortunately, the heating element did go out and we fixed it as soon as it got here the next day. We apologize for not having hot water for 12 hours. We do try to address any issues that happen right away. We are surprised to hear that the unit felt dark, since the living room alone has 11 different light bulbs to brighten up the space. Poor Management Company

The room was as described online. The management company was bad. DO NOT count on the shuttle service as advertised. Service was poor and staff was rude. We will never stay with Retretia again.

Boys Weekend

Overall fun trip for our boys getaway weekend. We liked the condo layout and the ski-in/ski-out feature. TV was a bit too small and should be upgraded, and we just couldn't figure out how to get the fireplace going. But, we would certainly consider staying at this property again.
