We stayed here for 2 nights. Around midnight the first night we realized there were cockroaches. The next day the true scope of the infestation became clear. Countless cockroaches everywhere we looked, especially in the bathroom and kitchen but also in the living room. It almost seemed to get worse and worse as our stay progressed.We began communicating this with the host morning of second day. The host gave use useless vague answers for days. With a very busy packed weekend we had no choice but to stay the second night. After driving home we discovered some cockroaches in our bags. The process of trying to solve this had been a nightmare. And this host is STILL giving us nonsense replies that they are “looking into this and will reply soon.” I now believe I’ve been talking to an AI or bot this entire time.We’ve sent videos of the cockroaches to VRBO and are awaiting a response but so far not super helpful. Our next course of action will simply be a credit card chargeback.
