Downtown Wedding

As a former OSU student, I wanted to stay by campus to rediscover the university and surrounding area. 10 of us stayed for a family wedding downtown, and found the property to be very clean. It is an older home, and the week we stayed was a scorcher! The owner went out and purchased brand new AC units for the bedrooms - I couldn’t have asked for any more.

Just say no

I thought this was a nice place to stay, but it was weird from the start and was downright gross as I left. For starters the listing stated a jacuzzi/hot tub, and that was removed 2 days prior to my stay and the property own did not say anything to us. When we got there, the place was not clean as there were bathroom racks in the oven, liquor bottles all over the house, trash left laying by the stairs landing, sheets still in the dryer, beer and eggs left in the fridge, dirty appliances and smelt of stale water, cigarette ashes in the upstairs closets (including a purse?) and the sheets were dirty with stains on them. I am not that picky and am pretty easy going so i just figured id clean up a bit so my kids could enjoy the stay. I tried to use the washer (no washer detergent or dryer sheets) and it made the sheets worse and smelt weird, so that was pointless. there was no broom, and cabinets were empty/bare of anything to eat off of. There were just empty boxes. There were glass shards in the back yard so the kids could not play. We couldn't move to a different spot as there were not many available and i already spent my money here at this spot. so, after day 3 of this we decided to start packing up and cut our vacation short. that is when the dishwasher stopped working and water started coming up from the floorboards. This place put me and 3 friends in the hospital sick with different things and i am still recovering. IF this place isn't fixed or clean, don' stay here...
