House was perfect for our team as we prepared for 2 festivals in Columbus. Master Bedroom was very spacious with an incredible Master Bathroom. Kitchen had plenty of counter space and cabinets. And plenty of areas around the home to get away and relax. Historic home with Modern charm is perfect.
This house is a gem! I loved seeing the preserved 1920s character alongside the modern renovations. It felt like staying in a piece of history but with all the conveniences of a brand-new home. The space was clean, stylish, and incredibly welcoming. Highly recommend if you appreciate unique architecture and a high-end feel.
Unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. The historic home had character, and we expected quirks from a 1900s home, but were surprised by the level of dirt and neglect. The pictures were better than what we found.Bathrooms had dirty floors, dust and cobwebs. We found trash, someone’s toothbrush and, most disturbing, used feminine hygiene products, showing the home was not properly cleaned after previous guests. The kitchen was nice, but the air fryer was filthy and other items seemed unclean and unorganized. Expired food was in cabinets and dishwasher detergent appeared moldy.Be cautious if traveling with elderly or mobility-impaired guests, or small children. The stairs felt unsafe for our elderly family member. No one could sleep downstairs due to no window coverings, and the only bathroom is a tiny half bath with no shower. A floor transition caused several of us to trip, with one person cutting their toe. We reported the front room ceiling leaking after rain but received no response. The backyard was nothing like expected. Furniture was dirty, covered in cobwebs and deteriorating. The BBQ was disgusting with no propane. When we asked how to operate it, we were told to “Google it.” The host promised someone would clean it and provide propane—no one ever came. Communication was poor. With a professional deep clean, better maintenance and a more responsive host, this could be a nice rental, but it did not meet expectations created by the listing.
They said they would mail my daughters iPad and never did I even offered to pay for it

Liked: Cleanliness, location, listing accuracy
Let me start by saying, the property was in beautiful condition. There were a few concerns the first night of our stay of 10 guests. The details listed include 4 full baths and a half bath. In reality, there are 3 full baths and two half baths. This caused some inconvenience with the amount of guest we had staying. There were several TVs not working at all, due to remotes missing etc. The host did reply back the next morning and made corrections. The second night, due to rain in the forecast, there was a leaky ceiling. We reported this immediately. The host was unable to come out at that time but by morning, part of the ceiling fell. As we were checking out, pictures were sent the host. He apologized and offered a discount if we chose to stay again a second time. The home is nice. Unsure if we will choose to stay again but some of us, did not leave happy. Not because of the home but the overall experience.
One of the bedrooms had a leaky roof and property manager put a bucket on the floor because it was raining. The occupant of that room had to listen to a dripping rain water all night and had a poor experience. Other than that, the facility was great location for the Convention Center and the kitchen was nice, which as athletes, we needed. I suggest a partial refund for the leaky roof inconvenience.
Great place to stay. House was clean and listing was mostly correct besides a small minor error. Bob was quick in answering any questions and messages we sent his way. Very spacious house and rooms. We did have a minor problem with the fridge beeping our whole stay. It did not get fixed during our stay. It was very minor to our party but we can see how it can bother others. I would highly recommend this place.
This is a spacious, historical home with some modern touches and a lovely backyard. The kitchen is very well equipped which is great if you're cooking during your stay. Bob was a great host and was easy to get in contact with if I needed any assistance. I would definitely stay here again!
Fantastic host. Bobby greeted us and showed us the features of the house and helped us with our luggage. House was clean and exactly as described. Perfect for a group. Felt safe. Would recommend. Thank you Bobby!
