Catch the sunset and a gorgeous, panoramic view of Pine Valley Mountain from this first-floor, garden-level unit in Hurricane, Utah. You'll be a 37-minute drive from Zion National Park, just under 30 minutes from St. George, and only 6 minutes from State Street in downtown Hurricane. Or drive to Sand Hollow in 15 minutes.
The space
Enjoy 3 bedrooms, and a main family/living room with a smart TV, kitchenette, and dining area. We love the large windows with our great views and lots of natural light! We also have 2 pullout queen beds in the main room to accommodate larger groups of up to 10 people. Children's pack 'n play and high chair available on request.
Log in to your accounts and stream shows on our 50-inch, 4K smart TV with swivel mount. Cuddle up on our soft coaches. Watch the sunset through the windows or from the patio. (Fall bookings: While you're on the patio, you're also welcome to a pomegranate or two from our tree! They are in season late September to November.)
Each bedroom has a full-length mirror, a bedside table with drawer space, a bedside lamp with an extra electrical outlet and USB and USB-C ports, and an alarm clock. Enjoy extra leg room with the California king mattress in the Cal-king (blue) room. The Cal-king (blue) and queen (green) bed rooms have closets with hangers, and the third (purple) bedroom has two comfy twin mattresses with a large dresser with drawers.
We stock our bathroom with plenty of bath towels and toilet paper, and we also have a blow dryer and a few small necessities on hand in case you forget anything. Iron and ironing board are available on request. Guest access
You'll be staying on the private, first floor of our home, reserved completely for you with a separate entrance and driveway. Our residential area is upstairs, so you may occasionally hear footsteps. However, that floor is separated by a locked door that we do not enter when we have guests, so your space is completely private (as in a duplex or separate apartment). You have control of the thermostat for your unit. You'll also have your own outdoor patio space.
The door to your space has coded entry -- we're happy to leave you with your privacy; or, let us know and we can greet you outside and give you local recommendations! Either way, we are available to help should you need anything.
Work Space
The Cal-king (blue) bedroom has a dedicated workspace (desk, chair, laptop riser, desk light), positioned with a window view. Use the laptop riser to put your screen at eye level. Plug the desk light into your computer's USB drive for added light during the day or in evenings (warm and white light settings and 5 brightness settings). The dining room table and chairs can also be used for office work. (Or on a nice day, work on the patio from the picnic table or patio chair! We have outdoor electrical outlets.)
Kitchen & Dining
Kitchenette includes dishes and silverware for 16 place settings, a refrigerator and freezer, toaster, and for some light cooking: a 2-burner electric stovetop, a griddle, George Foreman grill, water kettle, pots and skillets, spatulas, serving bowls, cheese grater, and a few containers for leftovers. (No coffee maker but make coffee or tea with the hot water kettle or get coffee at Scooter's Coffee or Perks - 6 and 7 minute drive away.) Eat in our small dining area, which is off set from the main room, or eat outside on the patio.
Other things to note
Laundry
There's no washer and dryer hookup in the unit, but we can do loads of laundry for you upstairs for an extra charge of $4 per load. Just let us know when you'll be away and leave your load(s) in the laundry basket(s). We'll have your clean clothes ready when you return.

Came down for Matts Offroad Recovery Games. Very nice place to stay. Super accommodating. We didnt have any clue the hill would be so steep for our truck and trailer, but with help from our host we were able to find a spot. Our host was super quick to respond to any of our messages. Thanks again for the place to stay.
Excellent location, within 10 minutes of Sand Hollow. Comfortable beds and furniture, plenty of space, very accommodating regarding our vehicle situation and the neighbors were very friendly as well. A bit noisy when the host was home which seemed to be close to midnight on at least 2 of the nights we stayed - we could hear them walking, toilets flushing, etc. Overall comfortable stay.

We're glad you had a good, comfortable stay, Tina!
We wish you would have let us know during your stay that noise was an issue. It hasn't been a problem for most of our previous guests, and we've asked some of them. I had a couple of people over the nights you were here and it was possible we were louder than usual -- we would have been happy to have quieted down if given the opportunity, especially for your subsequent nights. If you were to stay with us again, you can message us with concerns at any time.
Worked perfectly for our trip to Zion. Very kind hosts. Loved it.

About the host

My fiance Mark and I host our VRBO out of my home in Hurricane, Utah, near Zion National Park!
Mark is from Hurricane (he has some great local recommendations!). I moved out here for him after we dated long-distance for a while--him here, and me in Washington, D.C.! I lived out in the D.C. area for 11 years and my day job is in energy communications. I speak Romanian and lived in Romania twice. I grew up in California and have also lived in New England. Mark is from Hurricane and has all the local recommendations! We especially love to sing and dance together.
Why they chose this property
We love the beautiful view of Pine Valley Mountain and the Hurricane Valley!
What makes this property unique
The view! - you can see it from many other parts of Hurricane but ours really features that view from the main room and one of the bedrooms. We also have a nice little back patio that our guests can enjoy. People have also called our place very cozy. :) We hope you enjoy it, too!
