Definitely would love to return to this house. Very easy to communicate with the property owner. Detailed instructions were provided, along with very useful tips. The house and amenities are exactly as pictured - no surprises. Very clean, well decorated and the furnished very well. The finished Boat house is just an awesome place to hang out, and we spent virtually every morning and evening there. Cannot beat the view of the sunset from the deck of the boat house. Book without hesitation - this property is very unique and one of the most well appointed properties that we have stayed at!
This is an amazing house with a beautiful view. Our family of 10 had the best time. I love that you can control the temperature in each bedroom separately. Thomas was so wonderful and easy to work with. The boathouse is the cutest space and our newlywed kids stayed there happily. The kitchen was fully supplied and stocked with bags, paper towels, and other essentials. There’s a ton of outdoor space to frolic. We will definitely come back! I almost wanna leave a bad review just so that we can keep this amazing secret to ourselves. Haha!
We had a lovely Labor Day weekend at Green Lake. The property was clean and had everything you could possibly need! The host were extremely responsive and welcoming! Thanks for the great memories!

About the host
Hosted by Shannon
I purchased the GL Lake House in 2014, and have privately rented to families that have been coming to Green Lake for many generations. I have been investing in the property every year since, as it is my labor of love. I hope all my guests enjoy the house as much as I do.
Why they chose this property
I am from Chicago. I grew up going to family vacations with my immediate family, grandparents, aunts & uncles in the Northwoods of Wisconsin, including, Minocqua, St. Germain, and Eagle River. We loved to fish, golf, swim, play board games, and hang out at the fire pit. I have many fond memories hanging out on the screened in porches at night, telling stories. Annual visits to the local bait shop, tavern, and Super Clubs were a tradition. I became aware of Green Lake thru a friend, as an adult. Because life gets busy, Green Lake is only halfway to the Northwoods I had come to know as a kid.
What makes this property unique
The 100 year old pines make you feel you are in the Northwoods, even thought you are only 180 miles form Chicago, or 90 miles from Milwaukee. The water is clean and deep, where a boat is not necessary for swimming and fishing. It all starts by taking the Tram down to the house, which is a very unique experience in its own.
