This is a lovely cottage and setting! We loved the back yard area! The kitchen, living room and home theater room are great. The bathroom shower was too small. We could have used more sheets and blankets. Thank you so much, we had a great family stay.

Lovely family vacation

Lovely cottage in a quiet area. Our stay was made pleasant by the clean and well stocked facility. The proximity to the beach was great! Charlotte was a very friendly and helpful host.

Great winter getaway

A perfect place to get away for a few days. The dogs loved the bush trails nearby. The gas fireplace kept the place lots warm enough. Cottage was well stocked which made it so easy for us. Thanks. Would do it again.

Sauble getaway

Clean renovated cottage. Perfect for a family getaway! Well stocked kitchen, comfy beds, outside deck and backyard fire pit where great. Would recommend. We were told we had to bring our own bedding and bath towels but it was not explained in the listing. In the end they were provided which was great as we had a full car.

Lovely place, perfect location, great hosts

We had a wonderful time at Charal cottage. Cozy, but with ample space and everything you need on hand. Short and pleasant walk to the beach, but we really enjoyed hanging out on the deck and in the backyard, too. We had one rainy day and this cottage was the perfect atmosphere for doing a puzzle while listening to an audio book. We also enjoyed watching some Netflix on the big TV before bed. Great communication, easy check-in / check-out. We really look forward to returning next year!

Nice time

We had a nice time, weather was great for the first week of October. The place was very clean and tidy. We had most of our meals out on the deck where for the most part it was quiet, you could hear the traffic a bit but was still enjoyable. The fire pit in the backyard was great had a fire every night. The only complaint I have is there were no outside mats to wipe your feet before going into the house, but we remedy that the next day and bought one at the dollar store in Port Elgin. Kept the place cleaner so you weren't dragging in the sand and such onto the mats in the house. Left it there so hopefully the next person could use it. It was great for our dog too for taking her for walks as the place was on a nice crescent that wasn't busy so you could walk on the road. Nice yard for her to play as well.

Voyage de vélo péninsule de Bruce

Maison bien situé pour explorer la région de la péninsule de Bruce. Nous avons apprécié avoir accès aux condiments, huile, sel, etc. La maison est propre. Par contre nous aurions apprécié que les serviettes et draps soient fournis . Aussi nous avons été très déçues par la chambre avec le lit king . Il n’était nullement mention dans l’annonce que la chambre était au sous-sol et avec une seule très petite fenêtre . Nous en questionnons même la légalité.

Great location

We went a little early in the summer, but the weather was hot and the water cold. A 10 minute walk to the beach, exactly as advertised. Check in was smooth and we all had a good time.

Excellent location

The property is a 10 minute walk from the beach. It’s located in a nice neighbour hood close to many things like sauble falls and Southampton so it’s a great spot to do day trips. Very quiet location and perfect for a relaxing get away. Tv room downstairs was an added treat as well to watch movies after a busy day.
