Amazing hosts. Great property. Enjoyed the free kayaks and grill. We fished everyday right off the dock and caught tons of sunfish and trout or bass. Who can tell?! ;). Fireplace was great. Lovely time.

This place was great for our family gathering because it was: 1. lakefront on a quiet lake without Jet Skis or motorboats (low-power electric motors are allowed) and with 4 kayaks, 2. convenient to Hickory Run State Park and reasonably close to Jim Thorpe, 3. pet-friendly. The layout also worked well: a very well outfitted kitchen open to a large living room with a view of the lake, three nice-sized bedrooms, a great deck, a dock, and a grill. That they had some baby equipment (high chair, gates) was a helpful extra.The place was very clean, and the host/management company was incredibly responsive and welcoming. Although there were a few flaws (many windows don't open because mechanisms are broken, incomplete curtains in one bedroom, exceedingly firm mattress), we would definitely stay again.

Had a wonderful long weekend with family of all ages. The kids loved all the space to play and run. The kitchen was a great size to cook and gather with family. Family and pet-friendly! Hoping to come back when it's warmer to enjoy the water activities!

Perfect lake house! We especially loved the view of the lake (especially the sunset!), the kayaks, and the reading area with swing chair. The host was easy to work with and provided clear instructions. Will definitely visit again!

The house is beautiful. Kitchen is well stocked. The view even in winter was stunning. There is plenty of sleeping arrangements, 4 stars only because the 2 king beds need either good toppers or need to be replaced. We would consider renting again if we knew the bed situation was fixed.

We had an absolute perfect time! It was so nice to get away and enjoy the peaceful sounds of nature. The deer seem to have no fear of people so it was fun to watch them walk throughout the community or along the bank of the lake. We loved having access to the kayaks left at the property and had some fun nights playing darts and ping pong. We hope to make it back again soon!

2/5 – Very Disappointed With This StayI was extremely disappointed with this rental and will not be returning. For the price we paid (close to 1200), the overall cleanliness and maintenance were far below expectations.1.The place was not clean when we arrived.2.The bedsheets clearly hadn’t been washed or replaced before our stay.3.The deck and the grass area near the lake were dirty, covered with leaves, animal droppings, and debris.4.Despite the high cost, we were asked to take our own garbage and drive 5 miles to dump it—which felt unreasonable.5.The heating system wasn’t working properly, making the stay uncomfortable.6.The bathrooms had rugs hanging over the towel bars, which felt unsanitary.7.The fans and rooms were full of dust, showing a complete lack of proper cleaning.8.The ping pong area in the garage was also dirty, with dust, stones, and trash scattered around.Overall, the condition of the property made the stay unpleasant. With better cleaning, maintenance, and guest consideration, this place could be decent—but as it stands, I cannot recommend it.

We had an absolutely wonderful week at this house! The view across the lake is fantastic. The easy access to the lake makes it perfect for swimming or kayaking. The spacious interior and well-equipped kitchen added to our comfort.
