Access to the beach and the view of the beach was incredible! It was a beautiful beach, not crowded, soft sand, warm water, fishing pier *chef's kiss*. The house was clean and had everything we needed. Loved the outdoor shower and hot tub too! A perfect family vacation- would definitely recommend

This beach home was one of the best to stay in IBX. The host was above and beyond with any questions prior to our stay and immediately responded during our stay. We were there for one month and things went well. You could look out several windows and see the ocean. We enjoyed our time on the decks. Would stay there again.

Awesome sisters getaway in Rodanthe at ‘True Grit’! The home was spacious, exceptionally clean, and very comfortable—perfect for a relaxing Outer Banks vacation. Appreciated amenities like plenty of linens, gas grill, comfy beds, cozy sofas and the fact that pets are welcome. The location was excellent, with convenient access to the beach and ocean views from the decks and rooms. What a treat to hear the ocean waves from the decks!The owners were also incredibly responsive and helpful whenever we had questions, which made the stay stress-free. We would absolutely recommend this property and would happily stay here again. Our only regret was not staying longer!

We had a great stay at this beach house! The location was perfect—just what we were looking for—and the house looked exactly like the photos. It had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing trip. Would definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful spring break vacation! The house was very clean, spacious, comfortable, and had everything we needed and more (gas grill, video game table, outside hose to wash off sand, TV with streaming services included). We really appreciated that the house was pet-friendly; we had a small dog with us and it was nice to be able to bring him instead of boarding him. We went with another family, and we had three teenagers with us. It was nice that the house had a separate living room area for them to hang out. Plus, there were several decks that we enjoyed using at different times of the day. The house was a two-minute walk to the beach; we could see the waves from the house! It's also a 5-10 min walk to a nearby coffee shop (Beads and Beans OBX), which also sells locally-produced gifts), and there were nearby stores to buy groceries. The hosts (Carrie and Colin) were amazing. They were really responsive to our questions and very friendly. The house was easy to find and the check-in instructions and process were straightforward. We would definitely stay there in the future!
