This is the Costa Rica dream you’re looking for. Absolute beachfront. Private home. Private pool. In town and close to everything, There are only a handful of private homes in Jaco that truly offer this, and none are this well located. The beach is right outside your gate and everything is a very short walk.

When the day heats up head right outside your gate to the beach or spend a few hours in your private pool soaking up the sun, while still being able to hear the waves.

When your appetite calls the home has a nicely appointed kitchen or all the best restaurants Jaco has to offer are an easy 5 minute, or less, walk.

IF you’re ready for the nightlife Jaco has plenty of bars of all kinds serving all your favorites. There are also a few casinos in the area if that gambling itch hits you.

But, when it’s time for your head to hit the pillow this is where your home away from home shines. Each room is airconditioned so each guest can set a temperature that ensures a great nights sleep. 6 of us had a great time at Steve's home on the beach. The pool was great, the vegetation surrounding the place was gorgeous. Everything you could need is right down the block to main street. Steve had suggestions for excursions and arranged transportation for us. We couldn't as for more.Highly recommend!

Wow! What an amazing vacation! Steve was a fantastic host. He and Vicky catered to our every need. The property was gorgeous and in a perfect location. Literally around the corner from the Main Street and right on the beach. Having your own private pool with a covered area for shade was just an added bonus! Everything was so easily accessible! I will definitely be returning and I cannot say enough great things about this property!

The property was great, especially for a large group. The location was on the beach with everything else nearby including a beachfront restaurant out the back gate as well as surf breaks and board rentals. The host is responsive and very helpful. I would recommend it to anyone staying in the area.

Costa Rico Fishing Trip

This was our second stay and had a great time. The host and staff are wonderful. The location is terrific right on the beach with your own pool and 10-minute drive to a marina to go deep sea fishing.

Green Iguana Beach House

The property was beautiful and location superb. Steve was extremely helpful before and during our stay. The shoreline was rocky in areas but the water and sunsets were gorgeous. Perfect place for a big group. My family and I would stay here again.

Excellent slice of Pura Vida heaven on Jaco Beach! The owner, Steve, is extremely personable and gracious, and provided us with great recommendations in the area. It was fun talking with him during our stay. The housekeeper, Vicki, took excellent condition of the garden and home. Both live on the property. We would see them throughout our stay; they are very kind and were not intrusive.This place is truly a unique home with two buildings - the main house with two bedrooms each with a private bathroom, kitchen and living space; while the "Beach house" closer to the pool has four individual bedrooms, two of which have their own private bathrooms. It was the perfect setup for our group of six with 3 adults and 3 teenagers. (Though this setup might not be ideal for younger kids). All air conditioned - which can be individually set for each room.We felt very safe staying here. The property is very secure with gated access to street and beach. Our group constantly went back and forth between the beach and using the pool - really enjoyed having access to both (huge ocean waves during our stay - so it was nice to be able to swim in the pool and the ocean). We got in very late from the airport the day before Easter, and Steve offered to buy some basic groceries for us so we could enjoy Easter breakfast the next morning. This was so helpful for us!We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay during our first trip to Costa Rica! We hope to someday return! Pura Vida!

2025 Family Vacation

Our family of 6 adults and 2 children thoroughly enjoyed this property. The owner, Steve, was always available, but not intrusive. The property was clean and had all that we needed for a wonderful week. Great access to town and beach. 10 out of 10--couldn't be beat. Beautiful landscaping and jungle murals really gave a Pura Vida vibe!!

This is me and my friends second time staying here. We really enjoyed the property. Fits 8 adults comfortably with a full kitchen for a chef to cook. Pool was regularly clean and beach access was 20ft away. Steve was a great host with great knowledge of the area and recommendations.

Guys Fishing Trip

Our group consisted of five guys there for a deep sea fishing trip. The accommodations were perfect as we all had a private room with its own bathroom. The common areas were very spacious and clean. The pool and surrounding gardens were maintained daily. Also the property is heavily protected with locking gates to the street and beach. We will definitely be back!

On the beach at Jaco during New Years

Location was great, specifically if you're into beach things. Grocery store in walking distance was helpful. Owner was helpful when required. Had staff cleaning the place every day and offered to do laundry for us as well. Place is showing its age a bit, but all in all it did the job for our crew of 11.

Winter vacation 2025

Our stay at the Green Iguana beach house was great! The location couldn't be more suitable for getting to everything that you need in town and you are right on the beach for beautiful sunsets every evening. We had Dennis and Meliny cook dinner for us one evening they are the Chef's that Steve recommended from Bella Vista Cocina. The food was excellent! Steve and his housekeepers kept the place spotless. He was a great host we hope we can make it back there soon evening

Pictures do not do this place justice. The location is excellent - almost too good to be true! Steve is kind and helpful. Vicki and her daughter keep the place super tidy and they are both super sweet. I will recommend to friends and family.

Lovely Property

The home in Jaco Beach was the perfect size for our two families. Our host was friendly and responsive. The pool and beach access was convenient and fun. The only detractor was the “adult” transactions occurring at the end of the driveway/street. It was sad and stressful to walk past any time we left the house.
