The house itself was a really roomy place to stay, with numerous beds and sleeping options. The property was clean. The location was in walking distance to the Coca-Cola amphitheater which is why we booked. The main issues came with booking and check in. I was sent multiple emails with broken links to confirm booking. I followed up multiple times until they just kind of gave up on the confirmation. Once check in rolled around I was told they’d send check in information 24 hours prior to check in. Once I didn’t hear anything I reached out and they said it was actually 4 hours before check in (which I believe isn’t even VRBOs policy). Then I didn’t hear anything once it was 4 hours before checkin and had to follow up AGAIN. It felt weird to micro manage the booking and honestly the whole time I thought there was a high potential I was getting scammed due to the general disorganization by the property managers.
The link to the lease contract did not work and the access code provided did not work. I called customer care and was provided a new code. The grass was high and old leaves covered the porch front & back. This only thing historic about this home is the stench it has, even after air freshener it smells bad.The outlets in the front part of the home were not functional nor was the Wifi or the television because it's all plugged in the living room. I contacted the owner and he asked me to try to flip breaker but there wasn't a panel accessible. He stated he'd get back to me in a sec and never responded again. I use a CPAP machine so I could not utilize the main bedroom due to the outlets. Some of the wash cloths and towels provided were visibly stained. Aside from the train sounding like it's on the porch, the neighborhood was quiet with a few stray dogs roaming about. I wouldn't stay here again under any circumstances, and personally feel this owner along with this listing should be removed. I saw the bad reviews on a similar site for this owner and avoided them but this listing did not have the owners name. I chose it and now understand the reviews. This was my first experience with Vrbo and it was very underwhelming.
