About this property
Modern Comfort at the 340 Loft -Near Gettysburg & Antiques
This cozy first-floor studio apartment is the perfect space for a couple or a parent and child — with a maximum occupancy of two guests. The unit includes a queen-size bed, swivel chairs, and a large smart TV that can be viewed comfortably from either the bed or the seating area. The full bathroom features a washer and dryer, and there’s plenty of space for clothing, storage, and dressing.
The fully equipped kitchenette includes an induction burner, Ninja air fryer (great for grilling, baking, and roasting), a microwave, and all the essentials for light cooking. A fold-down Murphy table offers a spot for two to enjoy a meal or get some work done.
Guests can enter through either the front or back of the unit. While the studio is attached to a larger four-bedroom home, it is a completely separate and private space. Both units have their own entrances, designated parking spots, and separate sections of the front porch — ensuring that everyone has their own space to relax and enjoy. Noise Disclaimer: The apartment is located along a main thoroughfare, so traffic can be heard, especially during busy hours.
If you’re a light sleeper, we recommend bringing earplugs. We are actively working to improve soundproofing. The apartment will soon have new windows, which will significantly reduce outside noise.

About the host

Hi, I’m Anita! I got my start in hospitality while living in Kodiak, Alaska for 20 years, where I first began hosting guests and sharing the beauty of that rugged, remote island. Now based in South Central Pennsylvania, I manage a small collection of vacation rentals—each one thoughtfully renovated and maintained with care.
I come from a farming family and run several local businesses, so hard work and hospitality are at the heart of everything I do. Whether you’re here for a relaxing getaway, a family visit, or something in between, I want you to feel at home. Cleanliness, clear communication, and comfort are always top priorities.
If you need anything during your stay, I’m just a message away. Thanks for considering one of our homes—we’re happy to share them with you!

Why they chose this property
New Oxford is a charming small town with a rich history, welcoming community, and a pace of life that feels just right. It’s known as the Antique Capital of Central Pennsylvania, and the town square—just a short walk away—is full of character, with unique shops, friendly faces, and regular community events.
One of my favorite spots is Déjà Brew, a wonderful bakery and coffee shop located right on the beautiful circle. It’s just a 5–6 minute walk from the house, and whether you’re grabbing a morning pastry or enjoying a relaxed afternoon coffee, it’s always a treat.
The neighborhood is peaceful but conveniently located, with Gettysburg only about 15 minutes away. Whether you're here to relax, explore history, or just enjoy small-town life, New Oxford offers something special.
