Two-story, 1,352 square foot home on Wollochet Bay in Gig Harbor, WA with medium bank views of the Olympic Mountains and beach access.

Living Room: Comfortable seating and board games.

Sun Room: Enjoy meals with family and friends. Nap or read a book on the sofa. Large windows, heated floors, and remote adjustable shades.

Kitchen: Full kitchen with refrigerator, stovetop, oven, and dishwasher. Instant hot water, filtered water, coffee maker, and toaster for your convenience. Water throughout the house is filtered from a well. Plates, cups, utensils, cooking tools, and a rice cooker are also available for your cooking needs.

Bedrooms: The master bedroom is on the first level with a queen bed and seating with a waterfront view. Two additional bedrooms are upstairs, also with waterfront views. One bedroom upstairs has a queen bed; the other bedroom has three single beds.

Bathrooms: Two bathrooms downstairs, including one master bath, and one bathroom upstairs. Each bathroom includes a shower.

Yard: In front, enjoy a green lawn and large driveway space. When in season, pick blackberries, apples, and pears for your consumption. In the backyard, enjoy the waterfront view from the spacious green lawn. A gas grill is on the patio, which is covered by a pergola with string lights. A fire pit is nearby for keeping warm with friends and family at night.

Beach and Dock: There is a private path down to a lower bank. The lower bank has another fire pit, and can be used to access the beach. The lower bank is next to the boathouse which contains life vests for your use. Kayaks you will find in our kayak shed outside the boathouse on the lower bank. The dock is accessed through the boathouse.

The bay often has wildlife for viewing.

The neighborhood: Quiet, private, waterfront properties surrounding Wollochet Bay. Large wooded areas with wildlife. Shopping center with grocery stores, upscale movie theater, and restaurants minutes away. There is a convenience store 3 minutes away.

Note: The gravel path down to the boathouse is steep for some. Comfortable walking shoes recommended.

Great Gig Harbor Stay

We rented the property last year and returned this year as our kids lived the house. Great spot with easy access to Seattle and other areas. The stay was great!

Great house. Great location. 5 toll bridge is a drag but I'm sure the home owner didn't install that. Views are amazing. AMAZING!! Back yard with fire pit at shore and house level nice touch. Would have liked a little better TV to unwind to at night. Just a little cheap upgrade. I like to unwind and watch some late night before bed so a small tv in the bedrooms would be nice also. Otherwise this house has everything you need. Stay here you will not be disappointed. I love this house and the property.

Had a lovely time in this beautiful spot. 6 adults sharing for a family wedding; allowed us a place to all relax together between activites. Communication with owner was excellent and helpful. Highly rrecommend.

Fantastic waterfront property

Wonderful scenery and water toys to enjoy

We enjoyed very much the beautiful canal facing view with dock access and use of kayaks and row boat. Yes, the path is a little steep climbing up, but we enjoyed the access so much and sitting and watching the mama seal with two babes, couldn’t be beat. Celia was quick to respond with the couple questions we had. All and all good stay!

Incredible Property.... The YARD!!

We stayed at this house while visiting nearby family and we loved spending our afternoons relaxing in the back yard - playing on the grass, bbq'ing and enjoying dinner outside, skipping rocks at the beach, and roasting marshmellows in the firepit. This property is a dream. I don't think the pictures do this place justice. The perfect summer Washington destination.

Quintessential PNW

This cute old house is in nice condition and has lots of charm. The large grass yard and patio made it great for enjoying the outdoors. The walk down to the beach area is a little steep but worthwhile. We made use of the dock and had lots of fun with the kayaks. Loved seeing seals, schools of bait fish, and bald eagles. Going for walks on the dead end street almost always meant seeing deer, and slugs 😉. Celia was a gracious and easy host, we’d definitely stay again.

Wonderful Water Views & Roses!

Beautiful setting, Celia was prompt with answering questions & was sure to have lawn chairs for us down on the dock which is accessed by a bit tricky path but well worth the effort. Be aware the main floor bathroom--which is for the master bedroom--is clear on the other side of the house through the livingroom & kitchen and has a shower which is not accessible for a large person. We enjoyed our stay which was made quite nice by the use of the kayaks.

Restful quiet home well located.

I cannot explain adequately how this home with its idiosyncratic older aspects provides so much rest and comfort, but this VRBO truely felt like home. It is the hardest thing to leave here and the sunroom. I really enjoyed this space so much. The host was extremely communicative and helpful and thenlocation is amazing. The view out the back is stunning, but also being so close to stores yet feeling so remote is incredibly lucky. Only 40 mins from Sea Tac too.Cant recommend enough. I loved the sounds of the home and the feeling of age with the modernity of creature comforts.Suffice to say if you ever consider selling this home please let me know. If not i will be back to rent again.Oh i almost forgot the boat house and dock is a really cool feature and if we come in the summer we will make more use of it.

Peaceful, Quiet, Comfortable Home

There were 3 adults in our group. We were visiting relatives that live in Gig Harbor for 5 days. The location of the property is perfect for easy access to the freeways, and local Gig Harbor shopping. If you like to cook, Celia ( property owner) has provided a well stocked kitchen and appliances. We were able to host a couple of dinner parties for 5 people and meal prep, cooking, and serving was convenient and easy. The covered and heated sun room with the water view is a lovely place to enjoy your meals. Due to weather conditions, we were not able to use the kayaks or outside grill. This would be an amazing spot for the Summer months. Every room in the house was thoroughly cleaned and spotless. Another highlight is the welcoming neighborhood. We took long walks and every neighbor waved and said hello, how are you etc. We have rented posh, fancy homes for double the daily price of this rental in Gig Harbor and found Celia's home, simply furnished, a bit rustic and more comfortable than other home rentals in Gig Harbor. Thank you Celia for making our stay wonderful!

Million dollar views!

You can't beat the views of this property! From the backyard and nearly all rooms in the house, you've got amazing views of the Wollochet Bay and mountains in the distance. We were blessed with amazingly warm weather, and thus spent lots of time outdoors. The property has plenty of grassy space in the front and back for our kids to run around; sunsets are made for relaxing outside by the firepit or at the table under the pergola. I wished there were some cushioned chairs or lounging chairs in the yard, but otherwise seating was more than enough. Location was perfect, tucked away on a quiet street, but only 5-10 minutes into town by car. We loved our evening walks around the area. The house is stocked with everything you need for cooking, including a grill. On the bottom floor there is a spacious bedroom, and upstairs there is a room with a queen and another with three twins, which was perfect for our kids. There is a bathroom with shower on each floor. The house is full of character; we loved the sunroom with couches and dining room table, it's where we ate many meals and had game nights. (There are lots of games and books -- and a piano! -- offered as well.) Celia was terrific; she was helpful and responsive. She was happy to offer suggestions for area attractions, and was even so kind as to return an item we had left behind. I'd highly recommend this property, and would definitely stay here again the next time our travels bring us to Gig Harbor. Thank you!
