We loved our stay at Redondo Beach Paradise! The home had everything we needed and was very close to places and restaurants we wanted to visit. Communication with the owner was excellent! The bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious and comfortable. TV offered many apps including live TV. Excellent stay overall and highly recommend staying here!

great Redondo Beach location

This house was in a great location, only a 5 minute drive at most from the pier, restaurants, beaches, shops. The 4 bedrooms worked great for our family. Parking in the back was easy, and walking distance to the market so that we could bring back our own groceries and cook a meal or two instead of going out to eat.

This is a nice house in a wonderful location. Eat at Joes is one block up and a Whole Foods across the street... BUT the house was not clean... maybe just got overlooked. Rugs were very spotted and dirty, floors not clean. BBQ was too dirty to cook on and there were dirty dishes under one of the beds. We are all coffee drinkers and disappointed the coffee maker didn't work. Now that I look at the reviews it looks like it was t working back in August. Good thing Starbucks was around the corner.

Great place in a great location. Rooms are really nice and a good size. Good WiFi. Upper deck off of the master bedroom is a gem and is a great place to hang out. Easy walk to the beach or up the street to Starbucks or Whole Foods a couple blocks away. Beautiful master bath but the shower head and around the tub need to be cleaned or replaced. Be careful of the inside door handles... They have digital locks on them and they are easy to accidentally lock from the outside. Make sure you don't leave your phone in a room and lock the door of the only way to get the door code is on your phone. The codes for the inside doors are in the general house instructions you will receive after check in (not super intuitive). Overall, we would definitely stay at this beautiful and convenient spot again.

Great house with a great location. Loved the decor and the many bathtubs. Only real feedback is on parking… putting the passes away were noted in the check out instructions but that was it. No mention of exactly where to park (was the driveway behind the house available to us? We still don’t know…) and no mention of street sweeping. One of our party got a ticket as the signs are only at the very top and bottom of the block and not obvious to visitors. They arrived at night. Easy to update and would be appreciated by many. We should mention, although we didn’t mind, a “nephew” came right in unannounced. Luckily we were dressed/decent… A simple knock on the door would have been appropriate/appreciated. Thanks!

Overall, a nice place for our family to stay. The co-host met us at the check-in time, and gave us her number to text with questions (and was very responsive). They provided Keurig pods which was great...too bad the Keurig itself gave out by day 3. Kitchen had all the utensils you should need. There was an outdoor seating and grill, but it looked like it hadn't been used for some time, and could use some TLC. The garage wasn't included in the rental which was fine, but made getting to the bikes a little awkward. Bikes were great. Washer/ dryer worked well, but the "Dirty" and "Clean" baskets in the closet (both with stuff in them) was a little odd. I'd suggest the host print out the necessary renter info (i.e. amenities, codes, etc) from the app, and leave it on the table. It was a little hard to find in the app. It's definitely a family's home with family pictures everywhere and personal stuff in drawers. It's a little like staying in a stranger's home, I'd actually promote it on the description as "please make yourself at home in our home" so that it's not awkward. But again, overall, great place to stay, very convenient to Redondo Beach, grocery stores, coffee shops, and a dead end street so not a ton of traffic.

I was born and raised in Manassas, VA. I graduated from University of Virginia in 1989. I lived in northern VA for 50 years. The last 8 years I have lived in this paradise called Redondo Beach. I enjoy art history, sculpture, fly fishing and sports. I love hosting travelers from all of the world. I love hearing their story and sharing in their memories.

Why they chose this property

I knew when I walked into this house that I found my home. It has an abundance of nature light, cool ocean breeze and is in a perfect location with walking distance to beach, restaurants, coffee shops and grocery.
