About this property

Woodside Retreat – Peaceful Pines, Deck, Lake Access & Near Yosemite Entrance

This isn’t just a cabin—it’s where stories are made.

Tucked beneath whispering pines and steps from the 17th fairway, Woodside Retreat invites you to slow down, breathe deep, and reconnect with what matters. Spend your mornings with coffee in hand as deer wander past your window, then head just 3 minutes down the road to relax on the sandy shores of the lake. Share laughter around the dinner table with golf course views stretching through the trees. End the night wrapped in a blanket, stargazing from the deck as the breeze rustles the forest around you.

This cozy cabin sleeps 10+ with an included pullout bed and offers golf course views from the living, dining, and kitchen. Enjoy a shaded deck perfect for evening breezes, wildlife sightings, and quiet nights under the stars.

You’re just a 15-minute walk to the beach, Country Club/Grill, and the community pool. Close enough for spontaneous fun, far enough to feel peaceful. Inside, you’ll have central electric HVAC, in-unit laundry, and a washer/dryer for convenience. The level driveway makes parking easy for two cars.

Located only 20 miles from Yosemite’s entrance, this is the perfect home base for nature lovers seeking a mix of comfort, adventure, and lasting memories.

You’ll have full, private access to the entire home during your stay, nothing is shared. That includes the living room, kitchen, all bedrooms and bathrooms, the loft, washer/dryer, and the outdoor deck. Feel free to make yourself completely at home. You’ll also have access to all the amenities Pine Mountain Lake has to offer, including the beautiful lake, beaches, tennis courts, amazing swimming pool, and golf course (passes may be required).

Our cabin is located just 25 scenic miles from the Big Oak Flat Entrance to Yosemite National Park — one of the closest and most convenient access points from Groveland.

Within 30–40 minutes, you’ll be inside the park and ready to explore:

• Yosemite Valley (about 1 hour 15 minutes from the cabin) – iconic spots like El Capitan, Half Dome, Yosemite Falls, and Tunnel View.

• Hetch Hetchy Reservoir (45 minutes away) – a quieter side of Yosemite with stunning hikes and waterfalls.

• Tuolumne Meadows (open seasonally, 1.5–2 hours) – alpine lakes, domes, and wildflower-covered trails.

The drive to the entrance is beautiful and straightforward. No mountain passes or sketchy roads, making it easy to get in early for hikes or scenic drives.

Groveland is the last real town before Yosemite’s Big Oak Flat Gate, so you’ll enjoy:

• Great food and supplies nearby (gas, groceries, cafes, restaurants)

• Pine Mountain Lake beach, boating, amazing pools, and trails just minutes away

• Historic Gold Rush charm and laid-back Sierra vibes
