About this property

Waterfront Birds Nest Magical Dog friendly

Come stay at this rustic, unique, hand sculpted cob earth house in the heart of the beautiful gold country. You will be surrounded by wilderness and wake up to a seasonal pond and creek and the perfect view of Tuolumne county wildlife. The house is magical inside and out, built with love with material from the property as well as lovely reclaimed windows and floors. Sit outside at night under the Milky Way, watching shooting stars and listening to toads in the pond.

A place to get away for a retreat from our fast paced world. We have very strong wifi, cell coverage can be spotty. No TV. Bring a book, your love, a friend.

Please note the bedroom is upstairs, the bathroom is down an external staircase. There is no oven.

Our kids are now 11 and 16 and we love to travel and explore. We really enjoy nature and slowing down. I'm a massage therapist, and Brendan is an Industrial Designer. We love to host and have been doing it for 6 years.

Why they chose this property

We fell in love with this property. Rolling oaks, seasonal pond, deer, geese, turkeys, osprey, fish, bobcats, foxes, coyotes and more. This is a historic gold mill pond. We've found artifacts from the gold rush and love to explore.
The house is one of a kind. Featured in design magazines it is an earth build cob house. The views are amazing, the vibe is healing. Bring a book, and a hand to hold.

What makes this property unique

Close to Yosemite, Gold Country, Skiing and lots of fun towns.
