Stay ocean-side and enjoy many benefits of an oceanfront complex without paying oceanfront prices. 5th floor ocean-side condo sleeps up to 10 people. Great for a large family. King bed in the master bedroom, two doubles in bedroom 2, 1 Queen in bedroom 3, 2 twins in bedroom 4, and three full-sized baths. Guests staying in Ocean One 502 enjoy a landscape view and won't have to cross a street to reach the pool, grill area or beach. After hours in the surf, vacationers rinse under the outdoor shower located on the complex's private beach walkway and then dip into the oceanfront swimming pool. Ocean One is a five story elevator building located in South Forest Beach. Among the amenities offered throughout Hilton Head Island, Ocean One is one block from the Coligny Beach Market, a quaint downtown area that offers guests a wide selection of restaurants, shopping venues, and entertainment for all ages. This nicely furnished property has an updated kitchen and baths with sparkling white cabinets, fixtures, and appliances. The Master bedroom has a 32" Flat Screen. The Queen Bedroom has a 26" Flat Screen, and the double bedrooms have a 24" Flat Screen.

Perfect Beach Spot

Great place.

Security which makes it safe. Beach access. Grills by pool. This condo was very nice with 4 bedrooms. Location great: walking distance to restaurants, shopping and parks. Hilton Head is a great place to be for a getaway. We will stay here again for sure.

Family Vacay

I really enjoyed our stay at this property. It was nice and clean and the location was excellent. It is close to all the key places in the city and it is just a short walk to the beach. So overall, a great location. The only thing to improve would be 1) the place was short on toilet paper. Haha. and 2) the outside floors in the apartment complex (not in the apartment itself) were very slippery.

Wonderful stay for the RBC Heritage.

Great place to stay. We look forward to returning once all the remodeling has been completed at the complex. Only complaint was that man at security gate was rude and threatening. Someone needs to do something with that badge he wears! The other ladies were most helpful and polite.

We found out that renovations were happening earlier than expected on property preventing from using pool. They were nice enough to let us know ahead of time and upgrade our place to compensate.

Take me home country roads

We have stayed in this unit at Ocean One. My only suggestion is to have individual line parking. People take up more than their share of a parking space. Thank you. Hope to see ya again soon.

The first day, Wednesday, the AC wasn’t working. Someone came and had it cooling temporarily until Wednesday night, and it quit cooling again. Someone came and said the compressor was toast, so the management put us in another room but only 3 bedrooms, our original room had 4. So we stayed in it Thursday night. Then on Friday we moved to a 4 bedroom unit. On top of having the hassle of having to move out of the original 4 bedroom to a 3 bedroom and then to another 4 bedroom, my daughter had a 7 month old and a 2 year old. I know the compressor on the AC was no ones fault but it created a terrible inconvenience for my family.

Disappointed

Our group of 6 chose this rental based on floor plan and proximity to beach as well as description and positive reviews. We are a seasoned group of travellers having used VRBO properties many times. We were disappointed. A tired and dated unit; kitchen is not "updated and sparkling white" and had a broken corner cupboard. Housekeeping services needed due to dust, dirty floors and toilets. No cleaning supplies. Tv remotes did not all work, bedding was old and some did not fit beds and fitted sheet popped off corners every night. Window screens had holes. One toilet needed plunging. Entry door lock broke and although Seashore office staff were quick to respond, we lost a day having to stay in unit until replacement was installed. Our major issue was enduring sound of Jack hammers between 8:00 - 5:00 daily due to repairs to concrete balconies, and the pool was unavailable as that too was undergoing repairs. This situation was revealed to us just a few days before we departed for a two-day drive...and after we had fully paid the rental cost. Seashore Rental Agency staff were very attentive to our concerns while we were there and quickly corrected the issues they could control. We would not return to this rental.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Over the past 23 years we have been to Hilton Head about a dozen times and have stayed at an Ocean One property each time. There were 9 of us in our party and everyone said that had a great time.There were a few issues, although nothing too major. The elevator nearest our unit was taken out of service several times during the week. Since 2 of our party are in their 70’s and 1 having mobility issues this was more than an inconvenience. The pool was closed the last 2+ days we were there. The master bedroom and the twin bedroom share a bathroom and both rooms have direct access from each room. This setup may work fine for parents and young children sharing these rooms but in our case it required a little more coordination.We did have great weather, the unit was clean and everyone had a great time.

Large dining table and plenty of living room furniture Lots of storage space/closets. The location was ideal! A very easy walk to Coligny (restaurants, shopping, and groceries) and we loved its location on the beach. This unit does not supply shampoo bottles or dish soap. Bars of soap, dishwasher pods, paper towels, plenty of toilet paper, and extra trash bags are provided. Ample kitchen space with plenty of dishes and silverware. Make a pot of coffee or bring pods.

My handy dad traveling with us fixed it. There was a broken glass in it. There were dishes in the dishwasher upon arrival that we had to clean. Lights out in second bathroom. Dishwasher rusting and very old. Dryer making a horrible sound. Notified property management company upon checkout via email (and about disposal- they did not reply about either). My 15 month old’s feet were black on the bottom after walking around on the tile barefoot. Others with us not wearing socks had similar dirty feet. Floors need to be mopped badly. We vacuumed ourselves upon arrival. There were popcorn kernels under kitchen table (not from us) so rugs had not been cleaned. Mattress in king room is VERY uncomfortable and LOUD. Impossible to get in and out of without waking up others in the room with the noise. Curtains in family room have many stains/mildew on reverse side and need cleaned or replaced. Decor outdated but didn’t matter to us. Way too much furniture. We had to put some chairs from dining set in another room to make walkway to master room. Simple upgrades, decluttering, and a deep clean would go a long way with this property’s value.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were super happy with this condo!! It was a perfect location - right on the beach and close to restaurants/shopping! The bedrooms were arranged nicely with 2 on each side. This gave my family(with children) some privacy from my parents and brother/his wife. The king bedroom and 2 twin bedroom share an attached master bathroom. Both of the other bedrooms have their own attached bathrooms. It was well kept and pretty clean. There were a couple vacuums and a nice washer/dryer available in the condo, which made the stay so easy with kids! There is a bunch of construction going on (which we were notified about ahead of time), so that's the only reason I took a star off. Once it's all finished, but sure that will look nice too. We would definitely stay again! :)

Family Birthday Celebration for my Wife
