Property is located in an excellent location to get around the island. If there was one thing I wish we had would be curtains on the windows to keep out light in the morning. Having the four bicycles was a big plus.

Fairly clean, able to check in early which was very convenient. Upstairs was hot, but they provided fans to help. The only place to rinse off sand was behind the building next to the pool, would have been nice to have a hose outside to minimize the amount of sand brought in.

Needed an 8th bed on the floor. too old for the upper bunks, but that's on us. We had a large van, so the entrance from the road was tough, especially from the north was tough, but again on us. Access to walk down to the river would have been nice.Nice place, tho.

Great 4 bedroom walking distance to beach and Caligula

Nice clean convenient location for a reasonable price for a four bedroom which is hard to find. I would recommend and will probably rent again.

Hilton Head Stay

We stayed at the Island House for 6 nights. The location is wonderful. Close to the beach and shops. Easy to get to everything. The bikes were great to have for the kids. We would definitely stay in this area again.

Comfortable place in great location

We had 6 adults in town for a wedding. We had plenty of space to come together, relax AND get ready for the wedding. The location allowed us to walk to the beach and to the various locations associated with the wedding. Communication with the host was great -- they let us know about a repair and when the property was open for early check-in.

Senior Siblings Get Together

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our group was two couples and two singles , so finding a 4 bedroom with no bulk beds was terrific, furnished very tastefully, and clean. Only draw back with this property is living space area is small with no patio or balcony. Pool area looked very well maintained . Unfortunately, weather did not cooperate for this trip so we did not get to enjoy the pool. We did cook and kitchen had everything we needed .

Awesome Stay Overall Close to Beach

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The only complaint I have is the upstairs rooms were very hot and we had to purchase extra fans. If the rooms had ceiling fans that would help also, other than that awesome place and awesome location!!!

Enjoyable Getaway

We loved having the supplied bikes, beach chairs, and available storage closet for all our gear. We really like the South Forest Beach area and its convenience to the beach, shopping and activities via walking or biking. The unit has been updated recently but lacks a few minor conveniences on the upper level such as towel racks and ceiling fans, as well as a TV in the fourth bedroom. We had a great stay.
