Great location - walkable to downtown attractions, and also has a parking pass for convenient on-street parking. On a busy’ish street but near downtown so it’s what you’d expect.
The place is clean, perfectly appointed, comfortable & close to everything. We especially enjoyed the kitchen facilities & the comfy seating (for watching the opening ceremonies of the Olys!).
The property was really cute and conveniently located. The check in process was easy and the host was great. I hope we come back to St Johns and will stay here again if we do!
This apartment is part of the jellybean row section in downtown St John’s with easy access to everything. Our host was great with communication and help throughout the booking and stay. Highly recommended.
This apartment was in a great location and perfectly set up for a few days stay. Very clean and coffee and tea were a nice touch. The property is renovated and worked well for us. Light sleepers could use some earplugs but otherwise I would highly recommend it!
As expected from a jellybean row home. Quirky and fantastic location. Some written info inside the home about where to find sheets and use the tv would have been a bonus.
First impressions, the exterior is kept pristine with vibrant paint and a fun yellow door that immediately welcomed us to jellybean row! The place was clean and my friend said the couch bed was one of the better ones she slept on. Perfect place for walking downtown, where you can find cafes, mini marts, shopping and restaurants. My only note would be that those with accessibility needs might have a tough time here with the narrow bathroom and a few steps throughout the apartment. I absolutely loved St. John’s and this VRBO added to the experience!
The apartment was clean, nicely decorated and in a convenient location. The bed and the pull out couch were comfortable. The kitchen was bright and spacious with a counter and chairs.
Hot weather during our stay meant the space warmed up in the daytime, but it did cool off at night.
The hosts are responsive and very helpful.
Overall, an enjoyable stay.
After a road trip across Newfoundland, we had a great time in St. John's. The unit was cute and comfortable and quirky in all the right ways! The city reminded us of San Fransisco with all its hills and stairways, and while everything was within easy walking distance, sometimes it wasn't so "easy." John was a great host and gave us some good recommendations and the walking tour we took gave us a great overview and history of the area. Took in the views at Signal Hill and Cape Spear, loved Rocket Bakery "best kind," fish and chips at the Duke of Duckworth and the pastries at Birdie. Fun city!
My wife and I spent five nights in this lovely flat, well located just steps from the heart of St.John’s. Small but impeccably neat kitchen and bathroom with washer/dryer, a serviceable middle room with the entry door, and a lovely, large and sunny front room which we used as our bedroom/living room. All in all very comfortable and stylish with great artwork and maps on the walls, and as noted right in the heart of things in this fascinating city. Walking distance to virtually everything. The sole negative was the mattress which sags into the middle — it didn’t bother me, but my wife found it very uncomfortable and five nights on it were a real trial for her back.
This property was perfect for us, 2 grandparents and one 10 year old grandchild. Very comfortable bed and pullout in living room suited our grandson a d was esy to fold away during the day. We could walk to most places we wanted to be i. St. John's and there was never any problem getting a parking spot on the street just outside the house. Be sure to display the visitors parking pass waiti g for you on the mantle. We brought it in too soon while packi g up and got a parking ticket! This apartment is on the second floor but the stairs were no problem for us.
John was very responsive but we really had no issues. Great to have a washer and dryer available for a week long stay.
We loved staying at this property. It's centrally located to downtown, but quiet enough to make you feel like you're not in the city. It has all the amenities of home, so we were able to make meals and do laundry during our week-long stay. The bed is quite comfortable and the bedroom was dark, even though there are three large windows facing the main road (which were lovely to sit in front of during the day). We always got a parking spot within a block of the unit, usually right outside the front door. Our host was friendly, communicative and responsive. We had a wonderful trip and can't wait to return!
Great location - short walk to restaurants and sights
Property was super clean and very nice. Owner responded quickly to inquiries
Great location - close to Duckworth and Water St., with lots of good restaurants nearby. The washer and dryer was great as we were able to pack lightly. No AC but got quite cool at night, so slept with windows open (plus, they had fans). Could be a bit noisy for light sleepers but it didn't bother us. :) Would definitely recommend.
Beautiful condo located close to the downtown core.
We really enjoyed our stay in this wonderful condo! It was clean and cozy. The artwork was Newfoundland inspired and it had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was great to wash some clothing at the end of our 16 day trip.
