We enjoyed the central location of this place, it was close to dog parks and restaurants that we wanted to go to! Although I didn’t realize it was a shared unit, I thought it was a standalone house, but maybe that’s my fault for not understanding. the person upstairs was moving around a lot at like 1-3am and you could hear it. So definitely take some earplugs or something. Overall it was okay, but probably wouldn’t take dogs back with us since they’re noise sensitive to upstairs neighbors!
This was a comfortable place for the four of us and our dog. Lots of room both inside and outside. There was a large, fenced front yard in a fairly quiet residential neighborhood. No gate across the concrete path from the driveway but enough fencing to prevent a run into the street. We did have a bull moose run down the street next to the fence during our visit! There was ample, off street parking for our two vehicles. The unit was spotless clean when we arrived. We were there five days and did run out of dish soap and hand soap but were able to get a resupply from the woman who was cleaning the upstairs unit. It was very helpful to have laundry available in the building entryway. We used it. There were other occupants in both the upstairs and the downstairs units during our entire stay. Acoustically there is no noise from the downstairs. But hauling luggage up and down to the upper unit does cause a lot of unavoidable noise in the stairwell. We had several over 80 degree days during our stay and really appreciated opening windows with screens in the bedrooms and living areas that created a comfortable cross ventilation. This is a place we would stay again.
