Serenity Now! 3br Townhome w Private Beach Access - NEWLY RENOVATED!!

Welcome to Serenity Now!! We have taken great time and effort to be sure that our home is clean, comfortable and relaxing for our upcoming guests. Our privately-owned unit is located directly on the intercoastal waterway (ICW), and just across the street from the beach with private beach access. Choose any of the 3 back decks to watch some of the most amazing sunset views over the ICW that you will ever see! Or, make use of our 2 kayaks to explore the ICW on the water!! Plus, just 30 yards from your front door is your private beach access to some of the most beautiful, uncrowded stretches of North Topsail Beach you can find. No big condo complexes here - with just 28 units in our Shipwatch complex (most of them owner-occupied and non-rentals), you'll find big, wide-open beaches and friendly neighbors. The Shipwatch complex itself just finished a complete exterior renovation project, including new balconies, roofing and siding.

IF you want to stay connected, there is high-speed cable modem with secured wireless internet access. If you DON'T want to stay connected, we don't blame you! Spend your time instead relaxing on the beach, snuggle with a good book on one of the beautiful balconies, or take your kids fishing off of the private gazebo on the ICW! We have fishing poles and crab pots available for our guests - both kids and adults will have a blast!

The unit itself is a 3-story 3BR/2.5BA townhome, with private parking directly in front of the unit and a total of 5 decks to enjoy beautiful views from both the front and back of the unit! On the downstairs level there are two bedrooms and a full bath. The front bedroom has 2 TWIN BEDS and views of the ocean, while the back bedroom on this level has a beautiful QUEEN-SIZE BED with private balcony and amazing views of the ICW! The second level is the main living area with a large, comfortable living area, half-bath, and a separate dining area all open to a very well-stocked kitchen (we love to cook and hope our guests will as well!). In the kitchen you will find new solid surface countertops, stainless steel appliances as well as a beautiful travertine backsplash. There are private decks off both the kitchen (ocean view) and living area (ICW view) so that you can enjoy beautiful views from anywhere in the house! The master suite is on the third level with its own private full bath and QUEEN-SIZE BED. A private balcony off the master suite overlooks the beautiful ICW. Below we have just installed brand new decking underneath the entire house, along with an awesome outdoor shower - complete with hot AND cold water for nice warm showers (a must in the off-season)!! We also have 2 kayaks and life vests for guests to use on the intercoastal waterway (with an easy ladder off our gazebo out back for launching) - a beautiful and peaceful way to explore the water. Again, everything in our home has been updated and newly renovated and is now ready for our guests - we hope you'll be one of them!

Paradise at the Beach

Amazing space between the ocean and the sound. House was super clean and well stocked! Loved the views from both sides of the house. Used all amenities (kayaks, crab pots, etc.) definite plus!

Best of both worlds at Topsail Beach!!!

Can view the ocean from front porch and the sound from the back porch. Located one row back from beach but easy walk across to beach! Home was clean ~ stocked and just perfect for views and hanging out on the morning and evening. We stay again !!

ALWAYS A PLEASURE STAYING HERE

This is about our fifth stay here and it won't be our last. We have never stayed at a rental that has felt so much like home. Heavenly!

This property was Heavenly! With water on both front and back, the short walk across the street to the beach and especially the under-house area with an outdoor shower and picnic table to clean up and settle down with sandy kiddos. This was just what we needed. Thank you all so much for the personal touches and prompt communication. I would highly recommend this property. We plan to be back!

Wonderful week, excellent property!

We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves at this townhouse. The beds are very comfortable and we especially enjoyed the separate AC for the third floor master. The house is adorably decorated and very welcoming. Love the giant sectional that accommodated the whole family for movie watching. Sunsets over the ICW are breathtaking from the back balconies. We enjoyed taking the kayaks out and we caught 5 crabs in the crab pot. The walk to the beach was so close. Also the kitchen had everything we needed. We can’t wait to return next year!

Great Family time

We had a great family vacation. This was the first time we were all together on a beach vacation since losing my husband and my children lost their dad in 2015. I was able to celebrate my birthday with all of them and was also lucky enough to have a full super blue moon and the remnants of hurricane Idalia pass through on my birthday, it was a perfect day. The house is located with the sound out the back and easy access to the beach right across the street and equipped with everything we needed to fix meals even an outside grill. The owner was amazing from making sure our linens arrived to letting us know important details about the hurricane and checked on us after it had passed. To spend a week at the beach with my 2 daughters, son, son-in-law and 4 year old grandson was a perfect week for me. Would stay here again.

TOPSAIL TREASURE! Best rental yet!

“Serenity Now” is such a clean, well-equipped, comfortable and spacious rental. You have the best of both worlds with the ocean just steps across the street and the sound in your backyard. The beds were all so comfortable, and the entire home was updated and conveniently tech’d out with Alexas and charging hubs. This was a top 5 rental for us— and we have rented A LOT over the years, all across the country. And the outside shower??? A TOP 3 FOR US! It may sound weird, but we love a great outside shower and this one was sooooooo nice. Jen was so incredible in communicating with us before and during our stay. I simply cannot recommend this place any more— it’s truly outstanding!

Favorite Location

This is our third stay at Shipwatch Villas and it's our favorite spot on Topsail Island. We sat on the back deck overlooking the marsh and the Instracoastal every morning and every evening. The guys took the kayaks out in the mornings, because it's just the most peaceful spot. And the beach is right across the street, so things couldn't be more convenient. The beds and furniture are all very comfortable and the kitchen is very well stocked for any kind of cooking you'd like to do. The owner is super responsive, so we always had any information we needed. Would recommend guests bring throw blankets, because there aren't any in the unit. Would recommend owners invest in a SmartTv for the unit along with updated Wifi. There is a tv and wifi in the unit, but neither works very well. We spent most of our time outside each day, but wanted to enjoy movies together in the evening. We would absolutely stay here again!

Great location, fantastic for family of 5

Serenity now suited all of our needs for my mother, my three teenage children, and myself. The location of the property is amazing, technically 2nd row, but the back door leads out to the sound with a gazebo, and there is a clear view of the ocean to the south as there are no homes across the road towards the south. Private beach access is directly across the road and public beach access is just a few feet away. This townhome had all of the kitchen accessories, dishes, and appliances for cooking meals as a family. If you are looking for a quaint, family oriented location, this is it as this location is not industrialized, there are no high rises, and the beaches are rarely crowded. Our family enjoyed walking across the road to the beach to view the sunrise and walking out the backdoor or sitting on one of the many balconies to watch the sunset across the sound. We did not use the kayaks provided but we did use the covered downstairs area almost every evening. There is a private outdoor shower and water hose with HOT water which was fantastic for rinsing off after returning from the beach. We fished several times from the gazebo at the sound, although we never caught anything except oyster shells. Surf city pier is about a 20 minute drive and several shopping options such as food lion, dollar general, food options, amd souvenir shops within a 10-20 minute drive. There is a small mini mart a few miles away but for groceries you have to travel inland. The nearest Walmart was about a 30 minute drive, so plan accordingly. Thus location and the layout of the townhome suited our family's needs. The outside locked keyhole helped to ensure we were never looking for keys and couldn't misplace them. The first level includes a bedroom with 2 twin beds, a large bathroom, and a bedroom with queen bed with sound front balcony. The 2nd level includes a living area with a HUGE comfy sectional (this is where my two teenage boys slept instead of in the 2 twin bed room), sound front balcony, kitchen, and ocean view balcony. The third level included a master bedroom with HUGE bathroom, and another sound front balcony. It was raining when we arrived and when we checked out. The covered downstairs area was large enough for us to back the truck into for loafing and unloading out of the rain. There was also a picnic table and grill in the covered downstairs area. We could not have asked for a better location!! Jen was a great host and answered emails quickly!

Perfect Family Accommodation

Very clean and bright place. Great kitchen and family room. The bedrooms were comfortable and bathrooms were clean and bigger than expected. The access to intracoastal waterway was nice and the boardwalk and pavilion were wonderful as well. Beach access was easy and the outdoor shower came in handy. Will definitely choose this place again.

Wonderful home, great stay

Spacious, pleasant and clean. This was perfect for our family trip - our second annual beach vacation. Our toddler loved running out onto the decks and he had plenty of room to play and explore. Everything was comfortable and lovely, and the beach proximity was perfect. We loved watching the birds over the intracoastal waterway. A nice, quiet stay and was everything we needed and wanted.

Easy walk to the beach. Great views of ocean and sound.

This was a beautiful home, well decorated and plenty of amenities. The kitchen was well stocked, we were able to find everything we needed to cook gormet meals at home. The views from every deck was wonderful of either the sound or the ocean. The walk to the beach is very short and has a nice rinse station just after coming over the dune to get the sand off your feet. The walkway and gazebo at the sound is beautiful, many sunsets seen from here. The owner, Jen, was very quick to respond to any questions or needs that came up. Very kind and easy to work with. Would stay here again!

Great Place

I can't say enough about the property, and working with Jen was a pleasure. She answered all my questions no matter what I asked. We had a great time. Great views from all balconies. Kayaking in the inter-coastal was good as well as the gazebo for an adult beverage . The neighbors around the property were great made you feel very welcomed. Everything in the description was there and in good shape. Can't wait to spend another two weeks there. I have been to multiple beaches in North Carolina and I would have to say this meet all the expectations and then some

Exactly as advertised!

We had a fantastic week at Serenity Now! A clean and large townhouse, and the beach access was very convenient. In fact, it was actually quicker to the beach than some of the ocean front condos we have rented in the past. The beach is quiet with plenty of room, and the area under the unit with shower and room for beach gear made it easy!

Beautiful location, very comfy accomodations

We had a wonderful family vacation at Serenity Now! My family and I (7 of us total) we're so comfortable and felt right at home here. The views from either side of the townhome were spectacular! This place had everything we could possibly need and then some, especially in the kitchen. The owners are excellent communicators and have thought of everything. It was quiet and provided easy access to the water on either side. We would definitely stay here again! Thanks so much to Jen! Until next time.....
