Summary:
AMAZING!!!! Mountain views, hot tub & wildlife. At 11K ft, this hidden gem has easy ski access to Breck and Monarch and endless summer outdoor activities. Nestled in the heart of the PikeNationalForest in the historic town of Fairplay, it's a perfect retreat to relax after a day in the mountains! This is our place of Zen and relaxation. Immerse yourself on the front or back deck to take in the gorgeous scene! Spacious 3BR/4B King beds REAL wood stove adequate kitchen and all amenities of home.

The Space:
You will be thrilled to get to Hideaway Haus after an adventurous, Colorado mountain drive.
Please note you *MUST* have a 4WD vehicle through the months of October-May, although recommended year round. The last couple of miles to get to Hideaway Haus are rocky and will need a vehicle and driver capable and confident to handle the unpaved roads.
We are on well water and in the mountains so you must conserve water.

You will be met with tons of natural light and a cozy space to gather when you enter the living area. The living room has comfortable seating with a gas fireplace to make the perfect cabin ambiance.

The Neighborhood:
Valley of the Sun is a beautiful and secluded neighborhood tucked away on the mountain side with nature and wildlife! There are plenty of windy roads to explore with fantastic views and majestic sounds of the trees and nature.

Getting Around:
4WD is a must between October and April. As long as their isn't snow 2WD will be fine. Hey Rides! is our mountain taxi service if you need it.

Other Things to Note:
There are local rafting, fishing and hiking trails, along with horseback riding, snowmobiling and snowshoeing activities available all around Park County. Amazing star gazing, consistent wildlife watching! Don’t be surprised if you see a moose! Absolute serenity when the wind is blowing through the trees.

You are an hour and 15 from the royal gorge, two hours and 15 from the Great Sand Dunes and you’re an hour and a half from Denver. You’re an hour and a half from Vail. 45 minutes from Buena Vista and Hot Springs in Cottonwood Falls. You’re five hours away from Mesa Verde and eight hours away from the Grand Canyon.
