The cabin itself was very accommodating for our party of 6. It also had great parking for both of our vehicles. It was close to shops and restaurants. We had a great weekend.

Weekend Trip
Beautiful cabin & accommodated our group for a short stay. Could’ve been cleaner/ more tidy - all towels in each bathroom smelled bad, downstairs bathtub & floor wasn’t clean.
Nice cabin, but the front bathroom rug was soaking wet and smelled of mildew. To flush one of the upstairs toilet had to manually raise the flapper. Just needs a little maintenance.
Pleasantly surprised. The location was nice. We enjoyed the spa. The beds were comfortable. The cooking utensils were adequate. Maybe some WD40 on the BR door hinges and front door, is all I could suggest. Thank you! Beautiful place. We would stay again! Let us know if we left it as you asked.
This is a great cabin for a family getaway. It’s steps away from coffee, restaurants, light shopping and less than a mile from small, local, essential grocery shopping. All three bedrooms have their own bathrooms which was nice. Fully stocked kitchen with all essential needs. If I had to provide one recommendation, I would say that the bedroom linens need updating. If you run cold, bring some extra throw blankets as the bedrooms all have lightweight quilt/comforters. Probably easier for washing, but I prefer heavier bedding and it got cold at night.
The house is clean and nicely furnished. It is The property is not as secluded as it appears in the photos, but is quiet and peaceful. Within walking distance to a cluster of shops, restaurants and the distillary.

Better VRBOs to stay at
The place was nice; however, traffic noise from the state highway really put a damper on feeling secluded and at one with nature. They're also in the beginning phases of building another cabin right next to this one; we encountered lots of chain saw noise one evening. Please note that you can't hear any of this from the inside of the cabin, just while sitting on the back deck. The linens -- i.e., towels and some blankets -- had to be washed by us because they smelled badly of mildew. The dryer does not work. The kitchen is stocked with cheap utensils, pots and pans, etc. If you plan on grilling burgers, bring your own spatula or use the cheap plastic ones provided. Bring your own salt and pepper and spices as well as well as paper towels. The cabin sleeps six but seats no more than 4 or 5 so bring your folding chairs as well.
Other than the above, the place is still nice. Hot tub is nice, bedrooms are nice, layout of the cabin is nice. The back deck would be nice if less noisy. I think this place would be more attractive to people who want to party or women who want to "wine," like I am now. Lol. It's close to restaurants and bars and the lake. I've stayed in better VRBOs down there that were more suited to my tastes. Just depends on what you're after.
Everything was as described in the listing. The location is perfect, and very central to all of the Hochatown favorites. I would recommend this cabin to anyone. The host was very responsive and overall we enjoyed our stay very much.
Awesome property - exactly as described! Very clean, great location and fun for the family.

Just Okay- Overpriced
This property had all of the potential to be a great one. However, it seemed to be poorly managed. We traveled with another couple and each of us had stayed in Broken Bow in the past. We all agreed, at this price range, it was lacking in some of the basic amenities provided in other cabins. The location is great if you want walking distance to the restaurants and bars across the street. You can see them all from the front porch! Throughout the trip we noticed many things we were surprised to find missing. There were no throw blankets, so we were having to take bedding off the beds to snuggle outside on the porch or inside on the couch. It seemed we weren't the only guests who had done this because I noticed the comforter on our bed (which had not been taken off) was dirty with stains and small hairs. It clearly had not been replaced or washed between stays. The only toiletries provided were bars of hand soap. My husband did not pack any shampoo because in previous stays travel shampoo, conditioner, soap, lotion, etc. were provided (similar to a hotel). There were only 3 nice kitchen plates, so for the 4 of us, we ate steaks off plastic plates. There were not enough wine glasses for more than 4 people and they were all mismatched. Those last two things we wouldn't have thought twice about at a lower price range. We just expected more for what we paid to stay here. The jets of the hot tub were broken and the outdoor fireplace needs desperately to be cleaned as it smoked out the entire porch when we lit it. The table top on the island was not screwed in, and we almost lost our dinner one night by someone putting their weight on one of the corners. Overall, we made the best of it and had a wonderful trip. I hope the owners will address these things because this cabin is beautiful and has a ton of potential.
We had a wonderful time and the property was exactly as listed and perfect for our needs. Third trip to BBSP and the first cabin with plenty of firewood available- nice!
Cabin was nice and roomy. However the water pressure especially for flushing was not good. Laundry room light didn’t work, nor did the dryer. Back door knob was about to fall off, every bedroom and bathroom door squeaked loudly. The outside was not mowed and bottles, cans were thrown about. Down stairs bath tub is an accident waiting to happen.
We met our grown kids here for T-Giving. It was the perfect spot between Texas and Missouri and we felt safe being there during the Covid spike. The house was beautiful, very spacious and clean. The kitchen was well stocked for us to cook our T-giving dinner. No one complained about their mattress (we couldn't figure out which one was supposed to be uncomfortable) but we did encounter the wood piece sticking out around the bed upstairs! And the downstairs bathroom is really hard to shower in--just a clawfoot tub with a curtain. Nothing to hold on to and nowhere to put your soap/shampoo. I almost fell out of it a couple times! But everything else was wonderful. We used the hot tub every day and the outdoor fireplace was lovely! But if you're looking for total seclusion, just know the front of this cabin faces the parking lot across the street at the lodge. The upside is that it's walking distance from the restaurants/shops. The backyard is completely private and you don't see any other cabins around. We will definitely come back!
Good location except for the highway noise. Cabin was well laid out and comfortable. The downstairs shower was a bit of a challenge. We enjoyed our stay.
We just spent 4 nights in 50 Shades of Grey. It was such a fun trip for the 3 couples who stayed! We needed a few lightbulbs replaced when we got there, but just called and it was fixed quickly! We did think the pots and pans needed an update and it needs more plates and a few more spoons, especially soup spoons. The beds were very comfortable. My husband and I stayed in the bedroom downstairs and didn’t have any drawers to speak of to unpack or a closet to hang things in because it was full of Christmas decorations and extra pillows, but we made it work. Otherwise, everything was great! Thank you for such a great trip!!
