The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Remove personal items
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Please make sure the hot tub is covered and that no items were left outside.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Renter Agreement must be signed before stay.
$500 security deposit hold will be charged to card on file 3 days before arrival and released 5 days after checkout, assuming no damages.
$250 fee for no-pet violation, $500 fee for no-smoking violation. No ATVs, no Fireworks, no open flames

I am originally from Austria, but have lived in the Columbus Ohio area for the last 14 years! I decided to host to share the beauty of this home with others.

Why they chose this property

I loved the 312 acres of ready to be explored land. My daughter absolutely loved the little creeks, and it was such a peaceful, relaxing place to be. The house itself has a lot of charm and the story behind how the previous owner built it made it feel even more special. The whole area actually reminded me a lot of home back in Austria, which made it feel extra cozy and familiar.

What makes this property unique

I think what really makes this place special is that guests get full access to 312 acres of private land to explore all on their own—whether it’s hiking, wandering through the woods, or just soaking in the quiet. The home itself was built by a true Hocking Hills local with care and craftsmanship, not by a big developer cutting corners. I can really feel the love and thought that went into every detail.
