The lake was nice and the view from the deck. The toilet flushed and there was running water so there was that. However, a sure sign we were headed into trouble was the multiple forms we had to sign that there were no refunds and the weird reasons they would not give a refund. We walked into the place and immediately noticed a line of ants over the wall. The lights in both bedrooms didn't work and had to be replaced and the fridge door handle was broken off. In general the whole place felt shabby with band-aid fixes. Wifi was "brought in" but password didn't work so no wifi for 24 hrs until we were told to use the passKEY, not the password. The whole area was overgrown and looked shabby with broken picknick tables and a barely visible boat trailer. Both patio chairs were ripped, no gas for the bbq, the bathroom door looked like it had been kicked in and the piece of rustic art was screwed to the wall incorrectly (bear was nosediving into the lake!). A real life adventure though if you're into roughing it! I have pics to share the story with friends.
