Welcome to Calm Timber Cottage, your serene retreat nestled away in the enchanting Ouachita National Forest, in Beavers Bend! Relax outdoors with your own hot tub & fire-pit. Enjoy the cozy indoors with two fireplaces and stylish cabin aesthetic. Only a few minutes from the restaurants, attractions, and shopping in Hochatown. Only a few minutes to Broken Bow lake and Cedar Creek Golf Course. Rest, restore, & reconnect at Calm Timber. **Must be 21 or older to book.**
Out back you'll find a multilevel deck with a ceiling fan and plenty of seating where you can take it all in. The hot tub on the lower deck is great for relaxing and star gazing. The grill and fully stocked kitchen offers you a great place to cook. There is a fire pit area with seating provided in the back, beneath tree lights, for that campfire experience.
Indoors you'll find high vaulted ceilings make the space feel so open and airy. There is a full washer and dryer for your use and a walk in shower + fully stocked bathroom. The additional fireplace in the bathroom is a fun bonus feature! The cozy king sized bed and sectional that folds out into a queen sized bed - can sleep 4 guests comfortably. Smart tvs, wifi, & gas fireplace are also for your use. The keypad entry makes it convenient & easy to come and go as you please. Happily offering 1:00 PM early check-in for 35$ and 1:00 PM late check-out for 35$. Simply message me to request this. We also offer an Anniversary setup for 50$ which includes rose petals, chocolates, candles, a bottle of wine, romantic mood, music playing and folded swan towels (like you see on a cruise) provided upon your arrival. The surprise really elevates the experience. You’ll need to request this at least a week prior to your arrival. 🍫🦢🍷🍾🌹🥀🕯️🎶 The fireplace in the living room is a gas fireplace and should be operated carefully as such. The pilot must be lit and then to turn on the fireplace you simply use the timer dial on the right hand side. It sometimes takes up to 30 seconds to kick on.
There should absolutely be NO burning of wood logs in this fireplace. As that would pose a serious threat to health and safety. (Blowing up the cabin would be a horrible idea.)

I booked this property for my wife's birthday getaway, and we couldn't have been more pleased! We arrived at the cabin and everything was immaculate and very clean. The hot tub was clean and heating upon our arrival and Tiffany was very knowledgeable, responsive and eager to help with things to do locally. We will definitely book again on our future trips to Broken Bow/Hochatown! If you're looking for a nice relaxing place to unwind with your significant other, look no further!

Amazing experience. The host was friendly and easy to talk to. Make sure you use the hot tub it was probably the highlight of the trip. Also don’t worry about the bed it’s really comfortable and the covers will cover both guest. I’ll definitely be back again 10 out 10!!!!

Peaceful Getaway!We stayed two nights at the Calm Timber Cabin and really enjoyed our stay. The cabin had everything we needed from cooking supplies to little touches that made it feel like home. The area was quiet and peaceful, and the nearby cabins were just as calm. We spent our days visiting our favorite spots around Hochatown and our last night grilling steaks from the local meat market, relaxing in the hot tub, and enjoying the cozy, peaceful atmosphere. Tiffany was a wonderful host, and we’d definitely stay here again!

Our stay at Calm Timber was absolutely perfect! The cottage is romantic and cozy; beautifully designed and decorated! It was impeccably clean, inside and out, and thoughtfully stocked with daily household sundries. Tiffany was a dream hostess to communicate with, and made the process of checking in and out a breeze. Our stay at Calm Timber Cottage was the most perfect reset staycation we needed . I celebrated 25 years of friendship with me and two other friends. The Cottage was super cozy and well equipped ! We made wonderful home cooked meals and took advantage of the outdoor space , hot tub & fireplace . From painting pumpkins on the patio to sipping wine in the hot tub & ending the night with smores by the fire pit . We also went to the local drive through Safari, Beavers Bends State Park to hike , and Girls Gone Wine for some girl time and wine tasting . I would definitely come back and book again .
