It was a warm time in Pittsburgh and the site indicated their was air conditioning. The living room space had a air conditioner but the bedroom didn't. The bedroom was really warm and uncomfortable to sleep in despite fans. They would benefit by adding an additional air conditioner in the bedroom.

Pleasant Stay

The apartment was as described, excellent communication with owner, who goes above and beyond. Only minor drawback was some unavoidable traffic noise, otherwise neighborhood was quiet. Would stay again.

Lovely apartment. Very clean. Only giving four stars because parking was very confusing and bed and couch were extremely uncomfortable

The property was clean and the host was responsive. It was convenient to our granddaughter's apartment at which we spent most of our time. We really only used the vrbo to sleep. The couch bed and the bedroom bed were both comfortable. And the accommodations suited our needs. We were well satisfied and would use it again if available,

My partner and I visited for the night and the home was all that we needed. Decor was great, snacks were provided, even down to all the toiletries and extra chargers if need be. Donni’s place had everything you needed. We did stay on a hot summer night, though, and ended up sleeping in the living room where the AC unit was as the bedroom wasn’t as cool. Overall, everything was easy, accessible and made for a nice place to stay near the city.

This was a good stay. It is close to everything in Pittsburgh and conveniently located. Donni was great in communication. We had no problems getting into the apartment. It's right on a main street so parking is a little wonky. But it was quiet at night. Donni provided snacks and little extras which were nice. It was clean. Would consider staying again if in town.

Chose the location as it was walking distance to son’s house. The unit was clean and well equipped with complimentary food and bathroom items. Lighting was good. The building I would guess was not originally built as a downstairs and upstairs appt so the layout of the unit was not “conventional”. The patio was nice to have morning coffee outside.Read some past reviews and did not smell the “weed” or find the bed uncomfortable. We were there during a record May heat and the window AC unit was higher than my wife or daughter could reach to turn on but I could so it helped get to a comfortable temperature. If you are a light sensitive sleeper, bring your blinders as the windows (up high) do not have shades. Unit was quiet enough given its proximity to a road. We would stay there again.

The furnace stopped working our last night there, and it was 54F in the space. In addition it smelled like weed when we arrived. The wall paper was peeling, and there were no working side table lamps so in the evening we had to use the bright over head lights. There was paper towel shoved in the mail slot and the AC unit was still in the window in late November. No one had taken the time to put the TV cables behind the TV so they hung down the wall, and there was a cabinet of DVDs but no DVD player. The door to the basement was a plastic slider with a ripped that was nailed into one wall

The space was clean and well appointed. I enjoyed our stay but was confused about the heat and ac. There is a window unit in the living room but not in the bedroom and the central air doesn't cool the bedroom or kitchen. We were able to make it work with the air filter that they had in the unit as a fan blowing the cold air into the living room making it pretty nice.

Great space and wonderful location. So nice to have a clean, comfortable bed with workspace, chill space, and a kitchen and patio too! Will definitely be back. One unexpected extra was the snacks and amenities provided by the host. It was most appreciated when arriving in the evening on that first night.
