Caution: If you are elderly, physically challenged in any way, or do not do well with stairs the Serenity Tiny Guest House may not be a good fit for you. The spiral staircase may be an issue as well as the stairs down to the beach.
Fire Pit Use: We know enjoying a fire by the lake is part of the experience! We kindly ask guests to purchase firewood on their way up, as our personal stacked wood (on the south side near the large white propane tank) is reserved for our use. You'll find plenty of convenient options to buy bundles all along M25, and even at Willis's grocery store in Port Sanilac. You're also welcome to gather any fallen branches you find in the woods, or use the branches stacked at the back of the beach for your fire – some of these make great kindling!
Our Shared Spaces: If the main house is rented on the south side of the property please do not venture south on the property up top past the stairs to the beach.
* The guests in the Tiny Guest House should park on the driveway near the trailer and do not have access to anything south of the stairs leading to the beach (including the main house patio, the car port, the hammock area, or fire pit on south side of main house).
* Our SUPs, kayaks, and the fire pit on the beach are shared amenities for all guests to enjoy! We often find that most guests work well together in sharing these.
We hope you have a wonderfully peaceful and charming stay! Any questions or concerns please don’t hesitate to reach out 24/7.
