The Space:
Best of the West is sure you will not be disappointed with your Island Getaway! This luxurious 3 bedroom, 3 baths, relaxing bayside condo has fantastic unobstructed views of the bay and is only a short, quick drive to the beach and the Pointe West Beach Club.

Features a modern, fully equipped kitchen, flat-screen TV's in the living room & master bedroom, king size bed in master bedroom with ensuite bathroom, queen size bed in the second bedroom with ensuite bathroom, the third bedroom has twin over full bunk beds and there is a pull-out sofa bed for two in the second living area. Equipped with washer/dryer, bath and pool towels provided, and all beds are dressed for your party. Bring the wine, bring your camera, sit back and enjoy the bird sanctuary with some bird watching starring Roseate Spoonbills, Egrets, and Herons. The center stage will be the most fabulous sunsets, all from the privacy of your huge balcony overlooking the bay! Leave your worries at home when you come to your Island Getaway!

This is a pet-friendly property.  There is a maximum of 2 pets with a 100-pound total weight limit. ($150 cleaning fee).

There is a pack-n-play with a bassinet for your convenience.

When you stay in a Best of the West home, all you need to bring is your clothes, sunscreen, food, and you! Best of the West provides basic consumables needed for your entire stay; paper towels, toilet paper, large & small trash bags, dish soap, dishwashing detergent, laundry detergent, hand soap, coffee, creamer, sweetener, coffee filters, first aid kit, and to make things easier, a luggage cart to help you pack and unpack from your car.

Guest Access:
You will be provided the door code, wifi code, and all other check-in information 2 days before check-in.

The Neighborhood:
Pointe West is an exclusive resort community on the western tip of Galveston Island. The beaches are clean and groomed regularly and they are by far the best on the island. The main clubhouse has a beautiful infinity-edge pool, hot tub, kid’s pool, cabanas, grills, gift shop, workout facility with lockers, and a game room. 

***AMENITIES FEE: Please note that you will need to obtain a wristband and access code from the Pointe West Beach Club to take full advantage of the community facilities (pools, gym, clubhouse game room, Basketball, and Pickleball courts). They charge $25 per guest 4 years old and older and are good for the entire length of your stay. This fee will be paid directly to the Beach Club upon registration.

(You will receive an email from the Pointe West POA to prepay the resort fee. The primary guest on your reservation will need to show an ID at the Beach Club Office to pick up the wristbands and parking passes.) *** Fees increased to $25/per person in 2023. The fee is not mandatory. If you do not plan to use the pools and other amenities during your stay, you do not have to purchase the wristbands, but you will need to get parking passes from the Beach Club. You can get free wristbands for use of the restaurant and bar.

The Pointe West Beach Club is a separate entity from Best of the West Galveston. Best of the West Galveston cannot guarantee the availability of any of the Beach Club’s amenities. Check the Pointe West Beach Club’s website for details.***

Getting Around:
You are only approximately 30 minutes from downtown Galveston, Schlitterbahn, Moody Gardens, the new Pleasure Pier, and all the other great attractions of Galveston.

Other Things to Note:
**Elevators, WIFI, and cable can be unreliable on West Galveston Island. We apologize, but Best of the West can not guarantee these amenities will be working during your stay at Pointe West and we are unable to offer refunds for disruption of these services.**
