Have stayed at many places on Flathead and this is one of my favorites. Had everything we needed, the beach area was great. Will be staying again some day. Lots of parking. East access to little things in Rollins and only a few miles from Lakeside.
We stayed there with our family and another family which worked out wonderfully. It’s a rustic lake house with a a wonderful beach and dock. Our families had a blast even though the wildfire smoke was a little heavy. Would definitely stay there again!
Really homey and more than equipped for entertaining.
We love this property. The cove is great for finding calm water to waterski. The screened in porch and kitchen are perfect for cooking and eating with two families.
We've tried to get a week at Grandma's every year for the past 5 years. We love everything about it: location, the dock, the comfy feel, the crystal-clear lake, the island with a mansion that the kids can kayak to. Mary, the host, makes everything so easy. The house itself is not at all sterile or fussy. It feels like a stay at Grandma's lakeside cabin -- a bit old-fashioned, warm and cozy.
The property was very nice and made us feel right at home. The dock, fire pit and beach area was perfect for our group. As far as the house went, it had everything we would ever need and gave us a very homely feeling. We really enjoyed it. Mary (owner) was very sweet and helpful and we enjoyed her welcoming.
Our family had a wonderful time staying at Grandma's cabin. The kids took full advantage of the dock and the water toys. The property owners were very accommodating. This is a good lakehouse and a great location to experience Flathead lake.
Wonderful cabin close to home with so many touches that made us feel like We were back at our own grandparents cabin on Flathead Lake. Unfortunately their special place is no longer around. Had beautiful weather and a great time with family and friends.
This is a great location if you’re looking for a private dock. There is a nice area for kids to play, although it is rocky (kids loved the rocks). We had 3 couples and 3 kids. It was perfect size.
Felt like a very comfortable place, with an accurate description of being like a Grandma's cabin. Mary was wonderful, she made sure we had kayaks to explore the lake when both the canoe and paddle boat were not available. A woman of her word! Thank you again, what a great spot on the lake!

Property was great for a family reunion but dealing through VRBO was unacceptable.
Everyone enjoyed the vacation in the woods. I also enjoyed our relationship with the owner. The cabin in the woods was an excellent venue for our family reunion.
I will not, however, deal through VRBO ever again as 1) the payment requirements (amounts and dates) changed several times during the time leading up to the occupancy date , and 2) the $269 service fee is excessive and worthless.

Comfortable Family Cabin
We stayed here for an extended weekend with 6 adults and 2 children and it was a wonderful experience. You felt like you were truly at "Grandma's Cabin." All of the amenities you could possibly need were provided. The dock was perfect for our boat! We would definitely come back. The only small concern was the road down to the cabin- if you are pulling a boat on a trailer it is a little tight and there are potholes so be careful. Otherwise, we would recommend and would love to come back!
Very nice location but a bit tricky if you have a boat as turnaround space is just past the property. Master bed was fine but the downstairs bed needs replacement. Need some extra blankets for cool nights. Cupboards and closets need to be decluttered as many items are not usable or so old even the family members would not find useful.
Dock & location are great.

Quiet, beautiful surroundings, at home feel of cabin.
The dock, the beach, fire pit all excellent. So nice to have refrigerator room. One bathroom is in the master room, both are on main floor. The loft is usable for young people, not us older ones. The room in the downstairs is great because it has it's own porch area and path right to the lake. If you need a bathroom, you have to go upstairs to main floor. We felt right at home.

Comfortable, spacious house with stunning beach
This home has the most beautiful beach and dock. We spent two glorious days sitting on the deck watching the lake, laying on the dock in the sunshine, and swimming off the beach. The house has a canoe and a paddle boat, which we used to explore the islands offshore. There is a fire pit right on the beach where we roasted hotdogs and marshmallows in the evenings. We came here with two young children and my two elderly parents, and it was comfortable and fun for everyone. The perfect place for a family getaway. Mary, the host, was friendly and prompt in her communications. A wonderful vacation, and we hope to come back someday.

Fantastic family vacation spot
We had a great time. We are a family of four. We all loved swimming from the dock and the swing into the water was an added bonus! Also the house has a paddle/pedal boat that was fun to take around.
The place has a homey feel and is equipped with everything we needed to cook our meals. Everything was clean and neat.
We took a rental boat to Wild Horse Island and hiked. We saw the horses, sheep, deer and turkeys on the island. We fished and tubed. Made s'mores from the house fire pit that's right on the water.
Went to Glacier/Logan Pass one day. Beautiful but very busy with lots of people and cars.
Overall a great place to vacation with a family!

Liked: Check-in, communication, location
Grandma's cabin was Grandma's cabin
Communication with host was excellent. Checkin was excellent. The one concern we had that was not accurate was the loft access. We assumed there would be a stairs and there was only a utility ladder and a trap door to get there. We felt it was unsafe and dangerous. Cooking utensils were dirty and had to be washed to use and while the two refrigerators were a blessing, there was little space to put our groceries so we kept in boxes in the back porch. Had some difficulty in finding extra pillows and blankets. Weather was no cooperative but that wasn't the fault of the owners and we had good family time.
