Big St. Germain Lake Cabin

Eagles Nest is located in the ultimate northwoods playground when it comes to YEAR-ROUND activities for the entire family. This lovely cabin is nestled between 100+year old pine trees, right on Big St. Germain Lake with a great pier. The shoreline is sandy and shallow, excellent for swimming!

Big St.Germain Lake is a 1600 acre 3 lake chain. The lake is a class A Muskie lake and also offers many other species of fish. A 14 ft aluminum fishing boat is included-just pull out your fishing pole and catch a few. In Spring, summer and fall, choose from boating, golfing, horseback riding, shopping, dining, hiking, biking and lots more. The cabin is only minutes away from a variety of the Northwoods best trails including the new paved St. Germain Bike trail with gentle riding terrain. You'll find the Awassa Nature preserve Trail, and the Fern Ridge hiking trail close by, perfect for bird-watching and nature lovers.

St Germain's winter wonderland offers ice fishing, cross country skiing and snowshoeing on the nearby trails, along with great snowmobiling. Fire up the sleds and head out on the scenic Bo-Boen snowmobile trails located right outside the cabin door.

This cabin has a knotty pine interior, wood burning fireplace and new flat screen TV with Dvd player and cable.  WiFi is also provided.  The kitchen is fully equipped to cook and serve all meals. Ceiling fans are in every room. Relax, enjoy your morning coffee and watch the wildlife from the large 3 season screen room or beautiful deck, both overlooking the lake.   There are three bedrooms, one with a new queen bed, the second with a full size bed and the third with a twin bed separate from a bunk bed.  The full bath was remodeled in the spring of 2019 and now features a double wide step in shower.  The half bath is insuite to the queen bedroom.

​Should others wish to travel with you, we offer several more 2 to 5 bedroom cottages that are all tastefully furnished and carpeted. Kitchens or kitchenettes are well equipped for cooking, including microwave ovens, toasters and coffee pots. The cottages have thermostatically controlled gas heat for your comfort and all have fireplaces. There are color cable televisions in each unit, some with a VCR and some with a DVD player. Also furnished with each cottage is a 14 foot aluminum row boat, life jackets and cushion, picnic table, grill, lawn chairs, above-ground fire pits and professionally laundered bed linens.

Leisure Lodge Condominiums is a resort of 13 cabins on the south east corner of the lake. Guests of Eagle's Nest can take full advantage of the numerous amenities the resort has to offer, like the sand volleyball court lakeside, the tennis court, shuffleboard, boat launching ramp with dock, paddleboat, sandy beach with excellent swimming, canoe and fish cleaning house with lights and running water.  Yet Eagle's Nest is the first cabin in a row of 4 private properties adjacent to Leisure Lodge Resort. So while you have access to all the above resort amenities, you also have your own private dock and your own firepit!
