Escape to your private riverfront paradise! This cozy cabin on the Toe River has been recently renovated with a brand new covered deck, two bedrooms, two baths, and stunning views. Relax on the deck with a 5-person hot tub, gas grill, and outdoor seating. Enjoy swimming, fishing, gem mining, and kayaking right outside your door. Dog-friendly requiring a extra fee. Local hiking, close to several ski resorts and just 20 minutes from Burnsville and 45 miles from Asheville. Enjoy this cozy space in the winter with a gas burning stove to keep you nice and warm. We are located in the blue-ridge mountains of NC where you are likely to see snow in the winter months. We do recommend a 4 wheel drive or all wheel drive vehicle in winter months. Perfect for families, couples, and outdoor enthusiasts.

10th Anniversary Heaven

The property was everything we wanted and more. It was secluded and practically on the river, close to a large variety of ways to entertain ourselves. If it had rained and we had been stuck in the cabin, we would have been comfortable and entertained by games provided and free wifi. The accomodations (rosé in the fridge, games, free wifi and a smart tv, etc.) were so thought out and considerate. Literally everything was thought of. The only thing we wont misss is the driveway!

My husband and I are from Va. We lived in south Fl for many years. Our dream was to build a cabin in the mountains. We now have two homes in the blue-ridge mountains on the beautiful Toe River! We have been hosting guests on our property since 2008. We love to share this beautiful space with our guest. We provide a unique experience for our guests that will be memories made for a lifetime. We do live on the property although your space is very private and you will rarely see us unless we are enjoying the beachfront in the summertime. We encourage you to reach out with any questions or concerns during your stay.

Why they chose this property

This neighborhood is very quiet and very secluded. Few neighbors and little to no traffic. Great for the outdoor enthusiast.as there are several walking trails and being on the riverfront is great for fishing, swimming, tubing and kayaking. This area is also known for gem mining. We have found rubies and garnets on the beach and in the river. If you love to star gaze this is the place for you! We have one of the darkest skies on the USA. Incredible views at night.
