The condo contains one king bedroom on the main floor, the 2nd bedroom is in a loft setting with 1 king bed and 1 queen bed in an adjoining alcove. There is queen sleeper sofa in the LR. A port-a-crib in the condo.

Central to the condo is a fully equipped kitchen with brand new granite counter tops in the kitchen and all three bathrooms, dining area, and living room, All linens are provided. As a direct guest of the owner (through this website), you will be provided the best rates and a private check-in that allows you to bypass the front-desk process.

The Island: You have come to the right island if you want to explore some of the most beautiful sights in the world, partake in virtually any water/boating activity, lounge at several of the world’s most beautiful beaches, or enjoy extraordinary restaurants.

The Resort: Come and enjoy the exclusive and immaculately manicured Elysian Beach Resort where the aqua blue Caribbean water of Cowpet Bay will be ever present in your views from the living room, the bedrooms, or any one of this exquisite condo's three private balconies.

The Elysian is located just 12.5 scenic miles from the Cyril E. King airport (STT) on the east end of St. Thomas where it rises from its secluded beach to offer a most magnificent setting tucked quietly between the Ritz-Carlton and the St. Thomas Yacht Club.

From the moment you enter the resort you will begin to relax as you discover that most all of your vacation needs can be satisfied within a few hundred feet of the condo.

Start your day with a fresh cup of coffee on one of the three balconies where you can sit in the fresh morning air and get started on that book you've been wanting to read. If coffee and a book is not your style, consider a game of tennis on a court surrounded by palm trees.

Later in the morning, enjoy the beautifully secluded white sand beach, where, in the shade of the palm trees, beach furniture and a sports concession stand that offers a variety of water toys such as paddle boats, single and double kayaks, windsurfers, float-mats, and snorkeling gear. Beach towels will be given out at the front office. There is a bin outside the lobby for you to return your towels. Please drop your beach towels in the bin the day you check out.

Enjoy a quiet day on the beach while you watch the iguanas sunbathing. (See our FAQ for information about feeding the iguanas.)

If partaking of island rum is also on your agenda, make sure to ask for the ever popular 'Pain-Killer' drink invented and made famous at Soggy Dollar Bar on the island of Jost Van Dyke. (Better yet, take the ferry from Red Hook to Jost Van Dyke by way of Soppers Hole in Tortola where you can clear BVI customs ... take your passport.)

For a change of scenery, with reading material in hand, consider spending an afternoon sitting at the Elysian freshwater swimming pool; one of the most exquisitely designed and landscaped pools on the island, complete with rock grotto waterfall and hot tub.
Adjacent to the pool is a wonderful island “Pool Bar” . There are two restaurants on the property, Sangria’s Beach Side Bistro, a casual beach bar serving breakfast, lunch and dinner and Caribbean Fish Market, an award winning restaurant with plenty of outdoor seating so you can enjoy the palm tree lined beach while you dine. It is open 7 nights a week for dinner and Sunday brunch.

The resort is just two miles from Red Hook, the center of St. Thomas's popular east end activity and ferry transports to the other islands in the area (USVI and BVI). In Red Hook you will also find boutiques and groceries, and several marinas where you can rent powerboats or sailboats. Red Hook also has many popular restaurants and nightclubs.

When renting at the Elysian Beach Resort there are two things you absolutely need to know:

1) Are you renting a single room unit? Most of the units are 450-500 square feet. Our condo is actually three combined units with approximately 1,500 square feet in which to spread out!

2) The Elysian Beach Resort is built on a hillside. One of the most common questions we get asked is 'How many stairs do I need to traverse to/from the beach and swimming pool?' Our condo is near the bottom of the hill and is one of the closest to the beach and pool, and we still have great views. We have the fewest number of stairs to traverse than anywhere else in the resort. Our unit is about a 60-second walk to the beach; the pool is closer.
