About this property

Historic 1920s Private Bungalow Near Logan Square!

Before every reservation this home is Professionally CLEANED and SANITIZED thoroughly from top to bottom.
The only room that is not part of the listing is my personal office which is and shall remain locked on the main level to the left of the front door.
Our single family brick city Bungalow home oozes Chicago style and charm. It was completely rehabbed in 2016 and every single thing down to the mattresses, furniture and towels are brand-new in 2018. Our home has high speed internet perfect for doing work or online learning! It's a great space for a family trip, a wedding, business travelers or a couple looking for some some romance or excitement in the Windy City! The 2 bedrooms on the 2nd floor each have a brand new bedroom set and the smallest bedroom is on the main level with a twin/trundle bed combo. There is a garage that has a party door and inside garage there is a grill, dartboard, tiki bar and space for 1 car. The deck has a patio set that sits 8 and there is an outdoor fire pit. There are security cameras and an alarm on the home for peace of mind.

We are close to public transportation and downtown and minutes away from the most happening Chicago neighborhoods of Logan Square, Wicker Park and the famous Lakeview ~Home of the Cubs! My home is in the HEART of Chicago in a diverse and quiet neighborhood but on the edge of excitement!

No locals no parties no guests under the age of 25 unless prior approval by me. After every booking a copy of your identification is required before checking in.

Please note- There are exterior video cameras only on my property for your protection and mine.
As with every home there are always occasional power outages. I am Not responsible for the occasional power electric or Internet outage that may occur. Also, If there is a problem with the home or an issue upon check-in I must be notified immediately within 24 hours and given a chance to correct the problem. Thank you

This is a home we plan to come back to again! Beautifully decorated, ample space to spread out, beautiful outdoor space and even had a garage! Loved having 2 full baths which is a rare find! The owner was an excellent communicator too!! She was very attentive to our needs!

Amazing family vacation in Chicago

This was a first time visit to Chicago for us. We came over the holiday ( July 4th) with our family. The property is top-notch. Home is just as described on the app. Slept 7 people comfortably. Stephanie is an amazing host. Communicates quickly and will Meet any needs/requests you have. If we ever make it back to to the Chicago area, this is definitely the area we would stay first! This is a great house. Upstairs bedrooms/beds were great.The 1 car garage was great to keep the rental car safe (wouldn't recommend parking on the street). It was long enough to fit a Suburban! The downstairs bedroom has a trundle bed, but the room is not wide enough to pull the second section out all the way (left 3rd couple uncomfortable). Sofa pull out mattress is as thin as most shoe soles leaving every spring/bar very noticeable in your back, and therefore not a usable sleeping option. This was the first time using VRBO/Airbnb that we had to wait for the owner to meet us to let us in the property. Most have a lockbox/code that they give you the code for on check in day. The security deposit listing is misleading. While looking into the property it lists a $500 refundable deposit. While working out the money splits with our group this was planned for. When actually booking the property a secondary $1500 deposit came up that obviously was not discussed with the group beforehand, causing more discussion/coordinating prior to being able to book.

Wonderful Bungalow on a quiet street

We had a very comfortable stay at this charming bungalow. The neighborhood is very quiet and safe. The house is just as described. Extremely clean and well kept. A very special thank you to Stephanie, and Lily (her assistant), for going above to insure a great experience with our family. We truly felt like we were home, and hope to return soon. The neighborhood is nice, with tree lined streets. The house had amenities that few VRBO's offer, including some food staples. Beds were comfortable, plenty of sheets/towels too. Thanks again!

This location was wonderful! It was very clean with easy access. The kitchen had all the things we needed. We had 6 guys staying and we were able to all be comfortable! Two bathrooms, one upstairs and one downstairs. I will for sure stay here again! Stephanie was wonderful!

Chose this house due to the convenience of being within 10 miles of the Fifth Third Arena. It is a great home, extremely clean and Stephanie went out is her way to make everything just perfect for our stay. The area is safe & quiet. The parking is awesome. Having use of the garage is an added bonus but there is plenty of street parking. Perfect place to work remotely if needed.

Every single thing in the home is brand new from the custom furniture down to the dishes and towels. It's beautifully decorated and has a lot of Chicago memorabilia showcasing the city I love. Parking is hard to come by and I also have a brand new garage available for guests to use on site.
