A great place to call homebase while you're away, we hope you enjoy your stay. This home is only available until 7/30/25 - So much in demand that a company has booked the residence from 7/31/25 until spring.

Forget your worries in this spacious and serene space. Welcome to your private retreat in the heart of Mount Airy, NC, the beloved hometown of Andy Griffith, Donna Fargo and the Easter Brothers. Whether you're here to hike breathtaking trails, or sip wine at nearby vineyards, this 3-bedroom, 1.5-bath home is the perfect adventure base.

Step inside to a spacious, comfortable interior featuring two Smart TVs, fast Wi-Fi, & a full kitchen equipped for home-cooked meals. Enjoy breakfast in the charming nook, or relax in the sunroom. Privacy with fenced in yard with two granite picnic tables, benches, and fire pit. Book early for your summer getaway as we will block off time at the end of summer to make some landscaping repairs.

Main ground floor contains three bedrooms featuring queen beds. Master bedroom hosts a half bath. Full bath has stacked washer and dryer. Living room with 55 inch TV, Great room with 75 inch Smart TV, equipped kitchen, 36 inch dual fuel range, DW, microwave, Keurig, side by side refrig/freezer and island. Granite countertops and workstation sink.

Home is conveniently located close to downtown Main Street Mount Airy, Veteran's Park, River walking trail, Riverside Park and minutes away from Pilot Mountain State Park. Just up the road apiece is the Blue Ridge Parkway, Mabry Mill, The Candy Factory, Hillsville and Galax.

Downtown Mount Airy comes alive during the summer at the Amphitheater with its music and festivities. The Fiddler's Convention, Mayberry Days and the annual Autumn Leaves Festival. Join us for your getaway and step back in time to the good ole days. Y'all come back now, y'a hear.

So cozy!

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy cottage with our in-laws and children. The space was clean, very well organized, and had everything we needed for a comfortable getaway. The kids especially loved the basketball court and had so much fun catching fireflies in the backyard in the evening! Valerie was fantastic to work with—responsive, friendly, and made the whole process easy. We’d definitely stay here again!
