The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
**If you leave prior to 10AM, please send me a quick text/message (757-289-4648). Our cleaner is usually in the area and can start cleaning early for the next guest!**
Place linens (towels, bed sheets, kitchen towels) in the bathtub in the hallway. Please do not put blankets/quilts in the bathtub. If towels are wet, the dark colors bleed into the white sheets!
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Adam and I (Amanda) live in Chesapeake, VA with our 2 sons, Spencer (14) + Parker (12) . We have always dreamed of owning a beach home and in 2016 our dreams came true! When we purchased our 3 bedroom cottage, Carolina Dreaming in 2016 we never imagined the pure joy that being host would bring to our family. In 2019 we purchased our 2 bedroom cottage, Sweet Serenity. In 2025, we purchased our first property in South Nags Head, Permanent Vacation. We say this all of the time but we have been truly blessed with absolutely amazing guest who have stayed at our cottage!

We purchased Permanent Vacation for its stunning ocean views, peaceful surroundings, and timeless charm. The property's prime location offered a perfect blend of relaxation and natural beauty, making it an ideal retreat for our family. We were drawn to the classic "cape cod" architecture, the sound of the waves, and the opportunity to create lasting memories in a place that feels like a true escape from the everyday.
