Cosy 1 bedroom apartment in a historic canal house in a quiet and very popular residential area on the Amsterdam city island 'Prinseneiland', The island is like an old fashioned village within the center of Amsterdam, and is inhabited by a nice mixture of artists, expats and traditional Amsterdam people, close to the canals and main city’s attractions.

The apartment has a very nice feel with an 'authentic' style, an open, fully equipped kitchen in the living-room, a private bathroom with shower, wireless internet, a TV with international channels and of course a coffee maker.
Everything in this apartment is in great condition!

The neighbourhood is ideal located at about a 10 minutes walking distance from the busy city center with lots of restaurants and shops, The Ann Frank House, the Central Railway Station, the Red Light District, Dam Square and Westerpark and 3 nice markets on Mondays (arts and crafts-), Wednesdays (organic-) and Saturdays (farmers-).
In short, the perfect place to stay when in Amsterdam!

Bookings are only for 2 guests max, a baby is counted as 1 person according to the local rules!
Use of the sofa as an sepparate bed costs 10 euro once for the extra bedlinen.

We had a lovely stay at Emmy's apartment. Emmy was very responsive and welcoming, including leading up to the stay and after we checkout out when I realized I had left a previous valuable behind. Absolutely perfect location. Just outside the main area to be quiet and quaint but close enough to feel like we are in the action. The apartment had all the essentials and Emmy was super helpful with tips and advice about the area. We had one couple in the main floor apartment and one above in the first floor and it was a perfect set up. Highly recommend.

A wonderful 3-night stay in Haarlem. Drove from Schiphol to Haarlem. Street parking at our place - very handy. We were able to walk to most places. Rented bikes and rode from near Haarlem station to Zandvoort - a beautiful ride. Did a canal tour in the rain - we were the only ones on board! Would highly recommend this VRBO.

We stayed in the first floor apartment. In a great location - quiet area but walking distance to all the happenings, the train station, grocery store, restaurants, etc. It was very clean, the kitchen was well equipped and the washing machine was an added bonus. The host met us upon arrival and was very helpful with directions, recommendations for things to do/see, etc.
