Cosy 1 bedroom apartment in a historic canal house in a quiet and very popular residential area on the Amsterdam city island 'Prinseneiland', The island is like an old fashioned village within the center of Amsterdam, and is inhabited by a nice mixture of artists, expats and traditional Amsterdam people, close to the canals and main city’s attractions.

The apartment has a very nice feel with an 'authentic' style, an open, fully equipped kitchen in the living-room, a private bathroom with shower, wireless internet, a TV with international channels and of course a coffee maker.
Everything in this apartment is in great condition!

The neighbourhood is ideal located at about a 10 minutes walking distance from the busy city center with lots of restaurants and shops, The Ann Frank House, the Central Railway Station, the Red Light District, Dam Square and Westerpark and 3 nice markets on Mondays (arts and crafts-), Wednesdays (organic-) and Saturdays (farmers-).
In short, the perfect place to stay when in Amsterdam!

The owner was very kind, she received us in the apartment the afternoon we arrived, showed us the things to do around. The location is very convenient, close to Amsterdam Central Station, but also very quiet and secure.

A wonderful 3-night stay in Haarlem. Drove from Schiphol to Haarlem. Street parking at our place - very handy. We were able to walk to most places. Rented bikes and rode from near Haarlem station to Zandvoort - a beautiful ride. Did a canal tour in the rain - we were the only ones on board! Would highly recommend this VRBO.

We stayed in the first floor apartment. In a great location - quiet area but walking distance to all the happenings, the train station, grocery store, restaurants, etc. It was very clean, the kitchen was well equipped and the washing machine was an added bonus. The host met us upon arrival and was very helpful with directions, recommendations for things to do/see, etc.

Perfect base camp to an epic adventure. Quiet neighborhood just minutes from the action. Plenty of room to recharge our batteries, before heading out to explore. Getting around the city and greater area was super simple from this lovely apartment. Emmy was a fantastic host, greeting us, giving us travel advice, and taking care of our basic needs for the 10 days we stayed. Public transportation was a short walk, making seeing everything we wanted to very easy. Comfy bed and living room. Really a perfect location.
