Enjoy morning coffee on the porch, unwind by the fire table in the evening, and take in the serene mountain views. With a full kitchen, Wi-Fi, and streaming-ready TV, it’s the perfect blend of nature and comfort—ideal for couples, families, or a quiet getaway.

This escape is in immediate proximity to Canaan National Wildlife Refuge, across the street from Canaan Valley State Park, 5 minutes to Timberline and White Grass Ski areas, and 10 minutes from the Dolly Sods Wilderness in the Monongahela National Forest as well as Blackwater Falls State Park.

Great restaurants, breweries, shops, and music and other entertainment are within 10 minutes in Thomas and Davis at places like Big Timber, Stumptown, the Purple Fiddle, Billy Goat Motel, Happy&More, and many other great places. Guest Access
Guests will have access to the entire apartment and deck overlooking the Canaan Valley.

My mom, fiance, his 5year old daughter and myself took a little weekend getaway to the area. We were pleased with our stay! William is a fantastic host and I can definitely see myself staying here again on future trips.

We absolutely loved our stay! I have loved West Virginia for many years, and always enjoy visiting. This is an area I’ve not had a chance to explore before our stay, and it quickly became one of my favorite places! The apartment was absolutely perfect! It was just the right size for our family of 5. It was clean, had everything we needed, and decorated just as an apartment in the mountains should be. My outdoorsmen and myself were just smitten with it. William was very responsive and booking was a breeze. We are already planning to figure when we can make our next trip! Thanks so much for letting us stay.

If you’re skiing at Timberline or Canaan, this really is the perfect place. It is extremely convenient as it’s super near the ski barn, which has rentals for less than what timberline sells for! Being less than 10 minutes from Timberline was lifesaving. It was perfect for just 2 friends who wanted their own beds and privacy!My friend got sick at the end and I asked the host if we could stay a bit extra since she had a fever. Unfortunately I saw his response too late, but I was touched that he was willing to give us extra time for my friend who really wasn’t feeling well. The place had everything we needed!

William is an awesome host who solves any issues in a split second. The apartment was perfect for our family. It has all amenities needed for a ski trip. Convenient to go to both Canaan Valley or Timberline ski resort. Also a shout-out to the Ski Barn that is just underneath for their high quality rentals. All in all, the perfect apartment for a small-party, low-key skiers!
