About this property
Indómito Domes @ El Yunque Zone
Discover the magic of Indómito Domes @ El Yunque Zone, an extraordinary Geodesic Dome located in the heart of El Yunque Zone, at Puerto Rico. Nestled within a 10,000 m2 private forest with trails and access to a river, natural pools, and waterfalls, this unique retreat offers an unforgettable experience with one bedroom and one bathroom, perfect for couples or solo adventurers. Enjoy essential amenities like king size bed, dining table, air conditioning, private small pool, outdoor kitchenette and a refrigerator, all while immersing yourself in nature. Experience an unparalleled adventure, surrounded by the beauty and tranquility of the tropical forest.
A place to completely disconnect from the city, to reconnect with yourself, your partner, or your family. Watch the rain fall on the curved roof while lying in an air-conditioned king-size bed.
It's a place where you'll always hear the river and the songs of native birds. You can shower outdoors with hot water among the trees and simultaneously bathe in a small pool just for you under the stars. If you enjoy adventure, you can explore the forest trails and learn about the tree species that surround it, each with its own identification code.
Once you reach the river, you can begin your own excursion and swim in large and small pools and under waterfalls. You'll have the entire river to yourself and your partner, where you can create memories that will last a lifetime.
The Dome
The Dome is about a 2-minute walk from the parking lot and features a king-size bed, a small refrigerator, air conditioning, basic tableware (plates, cutlery, cups, glasses, corkscrew, coffee maker, pots and pans), a table for two, and armchairs. The Dome has an en-suite bathroom, and the shower is located outside next to its small private pool. On the deck, there is a patio table with an umbrella and four chairs, an outdoor kitchen with a sink, and a four-burner gas stove. There are also patio chairs outside.
Our property has a permanent cleaning and maintenance team for the entire network of trails, which have varying inclines. However, please know that upon entering our forest, you will be immersed in nature and will encounter many types of native insects, exotic lizards, endemic frogs, and small spiderwebs, as well as enjoy the songs of numerous bird species. If you feel that these natural elements might diminish or affect your enjoyment of your stay, we recommend staying in the city. However, we are certain that it will be an unforgettable experience for connecting with yourself, your partner, or your family. To explore the trails in our forest, we recommend wearing hiking boots and being in good physical condition.
The property benefits from cell tower coverage, providing excellent phone and internet signal throughout most of the forest and even along much of the Cubuy River, which borders our property.
Our project is entirely off-grid, meaning our entire electrical system relies on a combination of solar power and our own generators. Our dome is designed for two adults.
During your stay, you can book a relaxing massage on the riverbank or in a secluded spot within our forest, as well as guided tours of the area's natural attractions. Reservations for these experiences must be made at least two weeks in advance.
Indómito Domes is nestled within a 10,000 m2 private forest, which also includes another dome and a tiny cabin. These are additional units available on Airbnb, and you could also book them to have the entire forest to yourself. Each property is separated by more than 250 feet and dozens of trees, ensuring complete privacy between units.
